I was inadvertently reunited at my current band Deathline's gig in London on Thursday with two members of my old band, the notorious tranny punks, Six Inch Killaz. We split in 1999, ten years ago almost to the day. I see Simon / Mona (on the left) a lot - we're close friends still, but Luis on the right I haven't seen since we split. But the three of us hit off again like no time had passed at all. It was a happy night. That's me in the middle btw, sweating just after coming off stage and in off duty tranny mode again.
Here's Six Inch Killaz in our pomp: To compare and contrast, Luis is far left, Mona centre left next to her. I'm far right. We've lost contact with Holly (middle) and Jasmine (centre right), the other two members.
@Miss K - On duty and off duty - beautiful! @V - I love that effect. It's like you're leaning into (or from) a hidden space in the world. @icelandbob - A bright and sunny 1am. How lovely! I really must visit one day.
One last shot for this month. I was driving home from work on Friday, and get bored at red lights.
CamyLuna Why, thank-you! That sort of transitional idea was what I was going for. I wanted something evocative of memory - whether real or invented - or fantasy in the daydream sense.
