The little fella got bored and sauntered off after those two shots. Bloody diva.

Outside. In the office parking lot:

    Bye bye birdy

    Bird, meet grille

This guy's other car is in the body shop, after a close encounter with a deer. His last car was totaled by a collision with an elk.

Animal collisions are no joke. My cousin and my parents both badly messed up their cars hitting deer. No injuries, luckily.

I have a friend who's a train driver... Slowing down or swerving is not a choice when there's a moose in the track, and to put this way: The trains hardly get a scratch on them... I've seen some pictures that would go well in the disgusting-pictures thread.

@dorkmuffin - those rooftops are amazing. I bet it is so tempting to hop across them like Daredevil or something. But I bet they would break?

I got out a couple of times over the past week!

California Plaza - they're setting up for a live performance of soundtrack music from the new Battlestar Galactica, conducted by the composer Bear McCreary. It was a great concert!

After it got dark, the plaza, being up on a hillside, made a great vantage point for some more photos of Downtown LA:

That was back on June 13th. This past Thursday I was able to go to the premier of Cirque Berserk: Beneath - it's kind of a macabre Cirque de Soliel, and it was great! These are some cameraphone snapshots from just before they let us all into the tent:

    One man protest in London

This was taken by my Italian cousin yesterday.

He doesn't speak English and (clearly) he's never used a camera before
He wanted to take a pic of Churchill's statue outside the parliament in London.

Apparently it was a one man rally.

Spotted this nice crate in the trash:
    Wicker crate
It was heavy, but I got it out of the dumpster. Turned to be full of . . . well, these:
    Crate full of tools
There was also a neat factory-wound bundle nylon tow rope. All those tools up there are good quality, not-worn-out, no-cheap crap. Just tossed away.

If you gave this to a kid in a third World slum he could set up a motorcycle repair business on the side of the road.

Restarting my Montreal Love Blog for the millionth time.
    I promise nothing, of course.
I love Montreal, I love taking photos, and I love showing them to you, but research things sometimes take over.
But anyhow! This is from the other day, and so I thought I'd share.
