Congrats on the Eisner nomination for the Nightly News Mr. Hickman.

I saw that this was free on CBR and I read the first ten pages or so and it was so good I couldn't bear to read the rest on my computer. I bought the second issue, went to every comic book store in Manhattan and every place online I could think to buy it--including ebay--and I just couldn't find it anywhere. So now I'm painfully waiting for the collection. Because what I read was absolutely brilliant in terms of story concept and execution. Does anybody know how long the wait is going to be.

As a late entrant to the PAX ROMANA party, I was wonderfully blown away at the information density and depth of thought given to this alternate world...especially compared to Jonathan Mostow's insanely simplistic and cliched THE MEGAS. PAX ROMANA feels like a print version of a Russian nesting doll. Future issues have now been added to my must buy list.

I was planning on getting the Pax TPB but it mysteriously showed up in my box, so I've just decided to buy it floppy-style. I like it, but it's not as visually dense as The Nightly News. It's definitely dense, though. And good.

I started Transhuman, as well. I'm getting very near the point of just pulling everything Hickman does from here on.

So, Mr. Hickman, you're fucking good.
