After a clash with a demonically possessed ice-skating rink, Demon Cleaner tracks the parasitic remnants of his target to Peace Park, where it merges with a bronze statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Can Demon Cleaner keep this monument to peace from becoming a walking slaughterhouse?

It's an OGN by Cy Dethan and Stephen Downey (I did lettering).





Vince Morley is a man with big problems and a brain tumour like a baby’s fist, living with one foot in a monstrous alternate world he calls Cancertown. When the lost and dispossessed of London start tripping over the same cracks in reality he spends his life avoiding, Morley realises he must confront the residents of Cancertown - and risk finding his place among them.

Bryan Talbot wrote the foreword and said:
"For a first graphic novel from a new creative team, Cancertown is remarkable...We’re seeing here the first outing of creators who will make their mark on the future comic industry.

Mark Sable here. Wrote Grounded, Fearless and Hazed for Image; Two-Face: Year One and Cyborg for DC among other things. Ross Richie mentioned it among BOOM!'s offerings this week, but my book UNTHINKABLE is out. It's is a fictional spy thriller rooted in the real world.

After 9/11, many reacted by saying the events of that day were like something “out of a Tom Clancy novel.” Our government took that reaction seriously, and commissioned a think tank made up of thriller writers to come up with worst case terror scenarios, In doing so, we could devise ways to stop these "unthinkable" attacks before the terrorists even had a chance to plot them.

The comic tells the story of Alan Ripley, a fictional young writer who joins this real-life think when his brother is killed on 9/11. Almost a decade later, the nightmare scenarios he imagined start coming true.

In a case of life imitating art, as I was attempting to fly into NY this week, and in addition to invasive searches read and questioned me about the script: the TSA detained me

So, you know, "The Book The Government Doesn't Want You to Read", and all that.
