    I don't have a picture of it, but I drive a black 1999 Firebird Trans/Am. Manual transmission, AM/FM/CD w/ 8 speakers, 5.7L V8. I just clocked 100,000 miles on it.

    Train

Unfortunately. It's never on time, it's expensive as hell, but it does go 80 Km/h.

1987 Acura Integra LS, four door, 5 spd manual. Currently stock but I have a few upgrades that I'll get around to adding at some point.

'04 Subaru Impreza WRX lesbian wagon, 5-speed, 2.0l turbo, blah blah blah. Hauls all my music shit, great highway MPG, and demon when I want it to be. The first "car" I've ever owned, prior to this was a whole series of old beat up 4WD vehicles and one 2WD pickup. All Japanese, all 4-cylinders. I sense a pattern.

I take BART or use the boyfriend's City Car Share more often than drive my own vehicle, but...

Somehow I don't have any current pictures of my car. It's a black 1998 Subaru Impreza RS (yes, the "I wish I was an WRX" car). My boyfriend affectionately calls it "Deathcar". I insisted he call it "The Monster" - he defied me. Yet, he lives. Need to find a new navigator someday...

My ex crashed it no fewer than 5 times - so it has very little of the original structure. It's a stretch to say it's the same car, really. It isn't really a beater, but it has battle scars. It is a menacing looking car - for, you know. An economy compact car.

It will eat you. I love my car. I hate my car. You hate my car. I love my car.

i have a black 2006 Scion xB. i call it the Short Bus.

    Scion XB

i resisted for a long time, but the price point and mileage were kind of irresistible, given my budget and how badly i needed a new car. even with adding a sunroof and heated leather interior, it was well below other autos with similar hauling capacity. had it for a bit over a year now, and i've got nothing but love for it.

I, too, use 1980 legs, and the knees could use upgrading. Must be something in the model...

But, really, my life pretty much doesn't require a vehicle.

Next time I get wanderlust, I'm just going to rent a car.

    My feet and:
    DSCN3874

Of course, the only reason I actually have a picture of the Metro is that it died right there in front of the Xcel Energy Center on my way to work a few weeks back. Because we were in the inside lane, we couldn't get off the bus for a good 15-20 minutes while waiting for a cop to arrive and stop traffic for us(with bonus crazy guy stuck on the bus demanding to be let off) :|

    @Trotsky

Do you have any more pictures of the fixed-up 2002? I find 2002 to be just about one of the prettiest cars ever, so I'd like to see it. Especially if it's still red.

My Baby, my all-stock 1983 Mazda Rx-7 GS with it's 1.2 liter, 100hp engine, and 50/50 weight distribution. Third Rx-7 I've owned, and pistons can kiss my ass

My friend has an RX-8. I want to get a license plate frame for him that says "Pistons are for suckers" but I haven't yet.

    @ Howyadoin:

    Short attention span?

Mine or his? Both are true - had I really been paying attention, I would have stapled the keys to my leg after the first time.

The fifth and final crash was after we were far estranged - he had to steal the car to execute it. I still haven't fixed the damage, maybe out of spite.

He's one of those people who should never, ever drive a car. Especially *my* car. Car is angry. Car will eat people. Nom nom nom crunch.

My sympathies to your car. Clearly it's the victim here.
