    It's Friday, here's FREAKANGELS.

I woke up this morning (about an hour ago shut up it's morning) absolutely certain I'd forgotten to buy red bull yesterday. It was a very sad stumble from the bedroom to the kitchen where I was sure I'd confirm my horrible suspicion. Except I found I've actually got two full twelve packs in the fridge. IT'S A FRIDAY MIRACLE.

    How's everyone else?

Beautiful pages. But you knew that already, didn't you. And a moider mystery! Bliss. Any reason why Arkady wears panties now, though?

My week has been shitty bad but is three hours away from being over. Then I'm going to have drinks with old friends tonight, help out at the Alan Moore/Kev O'Neill signing at my LCS tomorrow, watch Eurovision with snack tomorrow night, and see my niece on Sunday. *Excellent*...

I trust all the children have Googled Quincy and/or watched an episode or two. And that they know better than to talk shit about Quincy.

And if Miki's Quincy, does that make Kait Asten? (Quincy's boss, the guy who gives him twenty-four hours to solve the case.)

Disturbing similarities between the OTHER Whitechapel murders, eh wot?

Paul, great job. Kait's very sexy when she's wet. Warren, outstanding work. Ariana, you're a miracle yourself.

    also Kait, rigid with fury.

    Moider! Chikkinz! Nipples!

Love it...some intriguing story coming in here, and the characters are becoming more and more solid for me. Love Arkady ^_^

(5863.8) that a severed turtle head in panel three?

Looks more like a rather startled fish to me.

I love all the squabbling that all the Freakangels do. Constantly. Constant bickering - always enjoyable! The way Miki takes control is quite funny too - she is obviously the one mothering them all, or at least rolling her eyes in exasperation, isn't she?

    absolutely loved it.
Stopped posting for a bit, cause I felt I was pretty much saying those three word every week, but it is still true.

Had a busy week. I have 2 hours to finish a pilot of a tv show I somehow ended up directing (I'm an editor)....can't say that is a bad problem though.

Still don't get the whole "Red Bull" thing....that stuff can't be healthy for you (and I am not a particularly healthy person, so the fact that it worries me, scares me even more)
Glad you had it though Ariana, for your mental health if not your physical

    Best. Webcomic, EVER!!
    love you guys, really do.

Busy weekend off ahead for me. I´ve promised myself I´d go shopping for clothes today, I hate shopping :( just wanna lie in bed and enjoy not being at work.
But one needs to have shoes that are not falling apart, right?

I loved the argument, Psychotic vs. Lunatic. I especially liked it when its turned on Miki in a totally abstract fashion. Nice to see the "Moider" word turn up again. Still in love with the way the teleportation is presented, its so well executed in its non-showiness and is probably the best representation on instant travel I've seen in panels, There/ Not there. Paul's work is getting even more in tune with this I think, nice and tight, but fluid, lovely expressions.

My knees are killing me, as I'm on them typing this, having been ousted from my chair by cat. I'm actually off work for more than one consecutive day, which is awesome.

The inlusion of the line "It was moider" has made my day. Plus Kait being wet. Brilliant stuff, and I second the love for FA bickering.

Great issue/webisode or whatever the hell we call this delivery method.

Whilst there is still plenty of unexplained large-scale stuff, this is now a world we know, so the "smaller scale" murder mystery works really well - and whilst we don't know everything the Freakangels can do, we do know that it's without mobiles and computers and wolfram alpha and stuff.

One pedanticism: page one, panel 3 - Kait is teleported back with water and a fish. Does this mean the teleportation is not person-specific but region-based? Could have some interesting ramifications. Or it was just a touch of art-humour, of course.

I forgot it was Friday today - it's been that sort of week. Then ole DoomFace peered out of Twitter and reminded me about Freakangels. Now much happier - end of work and beer with friends beckons. And absolutely no conversation about bloody MPs.

instead of waiting for the 7:00 alarm, eyes popped open at 6:30. my freak-sense was tingling.

this week: took my last finals mon-tues, pulled in another 4.0 semester. GRADUATE TONIGHT! (from a 2-year college, no biggie)
next week: have to expose my little bro (16) to the first 2 terminator movies before we see salvation.

right now: eager to see which of the many quotable passages gets the most mileage this week. it's practically the quote-off we've all been waiting for: KAIT! 'KADY! Feathers will fly and nipples will be threatened! This week in Whitechapel.

My vote for best line: "She said she was going to cut off my nipples!" "It's the law."

Speaking of nipples (totally off subject, but couldn't pass up the segue): spent yesterday catching up on Planetary (from the beginning). I missed the boat the first time around. anyway, I absolutely love it, can't stop reading it, and will finish it as soon as I finish this. (only 5 issues left)
I have just one question, if anyone could share their perspective on this one particular mystery:
issue #19, the giant drifting ecosystem in space, with the giant dead alien. on the penultimate page of the issue, we've got monkey's eating his tongue in panel 1, a village beneath his foot in panel 2, and in panel 3, skeletons surrounding his nipple (see how I tie that in there?) were they sacrificed there? died suckling giant-alien-space nipple? it is near what would be considered the zenith of the mountainous corpse, which leads me to sacrificial alter/nipple. anyway, I'm stumped. any thoughts? thanks whitechapel.

it's details like that, scattered throughout, that make stories resonate with unfathomable depth beyond the surface story. no connection to the outcome of the story (unless warren throws a curve-ball in the next 5 issues and somehow the key to defeating the Four is this galactic-lactation) but that one image has me confounded.

@Ariana: what color must your urine be, living off the red bull like that?!? my practically develops a toxic glow during periods of high consumption.

    @Pooka it's a fish.

Arkady's lines seemed particularly well-rendered this week. Well, everything this week seemed very clean and crisp. I love watching the development of the art along with the characterizations. Maybe I'll get lucky with my finances today and be able to meet Mr. Duffield at Motor City. Probably not, though. Frownie face.

Great episode, this seems to be going in a different direction.
I like Arkady at the moment, her 'porting is excellent, no sound, no lights just here - to there!

'This was not a boating accident!' oh wait, thats not Quincy.
Yet another amazing installment. Well written, well drawn and well delivered. Thanks to the major three and any/all the others in support who get this wonderful tale to us weekly. (of course AVATAR for the printed pages as well)

Woke up and spent time encouraging my fellow sufferers and friends, then ran straight to FA's for my own spirit support. In the end, it is yet another Friday and I am yet still alive.
