this week: took my last finals mon-tues, pulled in another 4.0 semester. GRADUATE TONIGHT! (from a 2-year college, no biggie)
next week: have to expose my little bro (16) to the first 2 terminator movies before we see salvation.
right now: eager to see which of the many quotable passages gets the most mileage this week. it's practically the quote-off we've all been waiting for: KAIT! 'KADY! Feathers will fly and nipples will be threatened! This week in Whitechapel.

Speaking of nipples (totally off subject, but couldn't pass up the segue): spent yesterday catching up on Planetary (from the beginning). I missed the boat the first time around. anyway, I absolutely love it, can't stop reading it, and will finish it as soon as I finish this. (only 5 issues left)
I have just one question, if anyone could share their perspective on this one particular mystery:
issue #19, the giant drifting ecosystem in space, with the giant dead alien. on the penultimate page of the issue, we've got monkey's eating his tongue in panel 1, a village beneath his foot in panel 2, and in panel 3, skeletons surrounding his nipple (see how I tie that in there?) were they sacrificed there? died suckling giant-alien-space nipple? it is near what would be considered the zenith of the mountainous corpse, which leads me to sacrificial alter/nipple. anyway, I'm stumped. any thoughts? thanks whitechapel.
it's details like that, scattered throughout, that make stories resonate with unfathomable depth beyond the surface story. no connection to the outcome of the story (unless warren throws a curve-ball in the next 5 issues and somehow the key to defeating the Four is this galactic-lactation) but that one image has me confounded.
