other matters: woo...I went to visit my bestest friend (the one that reminds me of Conner) the day before yesterday at his recently aquired new home out in the middle of BFE KY. He inherited his grandmothers house after they passed away. He's gone all super green witch, with a garden, herbs, fountains, flowers and witchy/halloween and decorations everywhere. Luckily, Mr. Freako ended up with herb store owners (a little more open minded than most types here) as neighbors, so he doesn't have to deal with the general stereotyping and predjudice that other freaks out here in BFE have to deal with from their fellow neighborhood folk. I got to introduce him to Repo: The Genetic Opera. At one point, my friend had an herb shop called Shadowdragon's Karmacy in the back of my comic book store. We sold his handmade products along with herbs and pagan supplies (he inspired me to try my own hand at the market and I did pretty well until I had to funnel all the funds back into my floundering comic book store and couldnt' afford to restock. (sigh)... anyway, back to point, he's started making his hand made pagany/herby products, and I'mma gonna promote them in my new shop next year. So far, he's made herbal sachets, bath salts, and pomanders so far, and he's going to start making staves and wands soon. He's such a talented craftsman and artist and such a special soul. I feel lucky to know him and I really really hope we can go back into business again once I get my shop up and running. so that's my week, yessiree...
