Hey! This comment is directed to William Christensen, et al.

Some of us real world FreakAngels have broken and beaten the snot out of our bodies so much that we choose to not wear the hipster's one strap field bag, messenger bag, camera bag, bag bag, any longer.

So, here's the deal. Git yr peoples on making one of these action-hero indispensables:
Sports Holsters, but make 'em FreakAngel, okaaay? I hear hemp textile is the force-field chosen by nine out of ten bodhisattvas. So, scrap up a little of that from the former Transylvania.

I think it's really hilarious that you're describing the future. Thank you.

Alice told me to say so.

    That sport holster is lame.

@Regicide - Umm, FA is a fully-paid project. Warren and Paul slave over it, but they don't do it for free. All the financial risk is on Avatar. Skip weeks happen, we're never going to sacrifice quality and sometimes that means things get bumped.

You guys are all bitchin' cool, and I love you. I think there should be a song written about how much you guys rock.

Whilst I don't know about the sportholster thing, I would be far more inclined to buy a backpack-style bag than a single strapper. Wrecked my spine carrying my schoolbag around on one shoulder 'cause it was the style of the time, so I'm really trying to avoid one-shoulder bags.

But yeah, I'll send some love to balance out the hate that's crept into the thread. Thanks for all the hard work guys, we really appreciate getting such an awesome comic... and for free to boot.

I have a complaint: Paul is travelling too much and therefore does not train his brute the way he should! 2009 has been half fights on the web half whatever he's doing. Sorry? webcomics? A fantastic webcomic that has kept us hooked for a while? Sayz who?

I for one dig the strip. I even dig the skip week matter that goes up; better that than nothing.

    That's what I meant.
I mean, we're presented with a cool webcomic, thus one shouldn't focus on one sorry soul who questions the authors when there's a skip week.

Of course I don't like not getting more story, but what I LOVE about Skip Weeks is to read the behind-the-scenes, hear about new merch, wallpapers, and see the hectic lives of the talent behind it. It may not be storyline, but even Skip Weeks deliver a lot of good content.

@Diello - That is great to hear! yeah, we want to do something fun for skip weeks and it is always nice to have it appreciated.

Me too! I've introduced a whole bunch of people to it :)
Also, the wallpaper isn't JUST for desktops, you know. Do what I do and print it out and plaster your walls with it ;)

Someone on twitter suggested we should start doing wallpaper sizes for blackberry and iphone. Any interest? If so, for future reference let me know about sizes you would want to see.

    @Regicide

    To paraphrase Neil Gaiman:
The creators of Freakangels are not your bitches!

I'm one of these weirdos that like reading FreakAngels in the collections more than on the web. I know I am total loser, and a tree butcher. I just love reading comics in print format and FreakAngels is really enjoyable as a collection. The pace is fast and there are a lot of witty jokes, so I enjoy it. When I started comics I trained myself from the start to function on the TPB/HC schedule. So I am used to waiting long periods of time. Actually, collecting floppies has made me really impatient, so I can only imagine how so many of you do/did it for so long.

Anyway, delays have never bothered me, the shit will come out eventually, SO CHILL THE FUCK OUT (to a certain person here and people at other forums around the net). Again, I apologize for the outburst.
