@Annie; What the scary part of your outstanding vision of Rush is that I've met him. Your version looks a lot like Clinton "Clint Catalyst" Green who hosted the Jared Gold fashion show back in March of last year in Los Angeles. Jared Gold's fashion leans itself a little to your design too. Thought it was noteworthy to mention.

Now this one's caught my fancy! Heh heh, gadget man........ oh man, is the deadline Friday, or Sunday?

I really wish I could spend more time on the colors. Whipped this up last night after working on some pages. A few of my original ideas seemed to have been used intially by other so it forced me down a different path which is good. I just had to let the little froggy fly though. I mean.. what's the good of having a talking frog if he can't fly around and do stuff.

    Gadget Man ala Matthew Childers

@matthewchilders - Love the Toad 'copter!

@matthewchilders; an ever-present floating toad being nasty. Brilliant.

My Spiderqueen was pretty ropey so I put a bit more effort into this one:

I changed the toad to a frog so he can rock out in a frogcopter, shame matthewchilders got there first.

Yes but yours is in his own bowl. Which is makes it completey different you see, lol. So I think what we're saying is that we should all just ditch the character and have a comic about a flying toad who talks. I'd buy it.

Replaced my earlier entry with a coloured version. I like it better now- brown is such a great colour to work with.
A few have mentioned that the image wasn't showing up in colour. Weird. Hopefully this works...

    @yoav @connor

It also appears that the toad is related to Kermit the frog (rod-operated hand?).

I so dig the diversity of approaches and styles. here's my contribution to the mix.

WOW! Lots of great ones!!! tyim: I really like your "storybook" (sort of Rick Geary-esque...) approach.

    @ Everyone

Jesus these drawinngs are brilliant! Keep it up

Yeah i would tell that Toad just to fuck off....

    @ Tyim - Brilliant cover.
@ MrMonk - Yup, is quite Kermit. Think with Click it would be a much more complicated pulley and cog system than just a rod.

I haven't had this much fun drawing in ages so have done colour version.
