Awesome, a relatively small week for me. The comics gods have had mercy upon my bruised and bleeding finances. That said, I'm sure I'll find some random trade paperback or something to buy (most likely the new BATTLEFIELDS). JAN'S ATOMIC HEART looks interesting but I'm doubtful my local will have it. -

Well, Mister Johnston and Miss Tindall have already mentioned my book this week, but no harm in repeating...
THIS IS A SOUVENIR - THE SONGS OF SPEARMINT AND SHIRLEY LEE is finally out today, and has within it a smorgasborg of cool creators, all of which took a song from the Spearmint back catalogue and game an 8-or so page 'take' on it.
I did the song 'A BENCH IN A PARK', which I first heard in the 90's, live on stage at a gig somewhere near Bexleyheath, South East London - so you can see that this was a bit of a legacy story for me. And I was lucky enough to have the talented and Eisner nominated genius Kevin Colden on art and letters.
And as Rich has already shown a page of his, so I'll show a page of mine...
