They wrapped awhile ago. it's mostly about editing now. Not sure what plans they had for him in the future, but I'm pretty sure WB execs are lighting cigars with hundred dollar bills
Still, that really sucks :(. A friend of my ex-wife worked with him, he was apparently a really nice guy (and jammed out on a didgeridoo with some of the crew).
NY Times confirms, he was found dead, no suspected foul play.
Well, I don't know what he'd be doing in SoHo if he was still filming with Gilliam. I suspect they wrapped that one up, as well. I fucking hope so for Gilliam's sake. Poor bastard. Terrible for Ledger's family, too.
As a completely heterosexual male (well, maybe a 1 on the Kinsey scale some days), I was honestly moved by Brokeback Mountain. What a beautiful movie.
I didn't know about the latest Gilliam, that sucks. I didn't like Tideland, but I need to watch it a second time before I can form a complete opinion on it. Brothers Grimm was mad harsh (yo), that film caught too much flak.
I've never liked any movie with Heath Ledger in it. It's still really unfortunate for his loved ones. And possibly too bad for Gilliam. The man is cursed, I tell ya!
