    Welcome to Whitechapel.

The best way to start these things is to get everyone saying hello. So please introduce yourselves in this thread, adding a photo if you've got one (trust me -- the web works much better when people see that there are real people on the other end of a post).

We don't insist on real names here. I find it helps, but, frankly, if you want to be a completely fictional invention of yourself, go right ahead. Hell, I've even known people who have started out fictional and then become their own invention.

    Hello. I'm Warren.

Hello, everyone, I'm Ariana Osborne. I'm what passes for a mechanic around here, and I generally look absolutely nothing like this:

They don't often let the mechanic outside, really. But this is pretty much the only photo I've got where I'm not crying because Warren's "just had an idea". So there you are.

Hi everyone, my name is Robert Clark. I'm currently a 33 year old college student, husband and father of 2 children living in hell, otherwise known as Albuquerque, New Mexico. I'm in college studying to become a high school English teacher. I hope to be able to warp, I mean mold young minds. I'm a huge fan of Warren's work and have been reading his stuff for quite a while now. I hope to have a chance to participate on this board here and there.

    Talk to you all later.

Good morning, all. I'm Sean. Low-grade PR mandarin, very occasional comic writer of sorts (big up to Thunder Road, y'all!), looking forward to seeing the team of Mssrs. Ellis and Duffield break through my kneejerk steampunk fatigue with this new endeavor.

Hi, I'm Kat. Some people call me preternaturally happy, others just call me a freak. At least two people have been fooled by my innocent exterior.
    4 in the morning
I enjoy the color pink, saying the most inappropriate things imaginable, black cats, reading, ball pits and other assorted and sundry things. I am especially fond of putting ribbons in my hair and walking around in stompy Doc Martens with a skirt on. I see absolutely no reason that I can't be dangerous and pretty at the same time. That sentence basically sums up everything you need to know about me. :)

    Good morning. Ish.

Geoffrey D. Wessel. I'm nobody yet. Hope to be soon. Working on some comics projects, but then aren't we all? Mostly I just bullshit on my LiveJournal with flash fictions and other commentary about comics, sports, and life in general. I live in Indianapolis, IN, USA, am married, have a stepson, a daughter with autism, and a wee son who just blew up our microwave yesterday. Yeah, it's a fun life. Ish.

And this is me. You lucky lucky people.

My name's Dan. I live in London, but I'm from Texas. These days I'm a - whatchacallit - a house husband. Like John Lennon was. I have cookies in the oven right now, no joke, as a treat for my wife when she gets home from grad school. It's a good life.

This is what I look like when I'm climbing a spiral staircase and you're holding a camera about five feet above me.

    I'm Michael Furious.

I'm an artist whose work is often compared to people I don't think I have any business being compared to, but thanks, right?

Steven Clark. Geek. Reader. Um, Law-talking-guy in remission (it seemed like a good idea at the time.) Australian.

[Apparently I really do look like this sometimes.]

I'm working on a PhD. The Real World™ turned out to be just like Warren promised. 'cept mine seemed to come without filthy assistants. So I gave it back ... to have more time to watch it bleed scream unfold.

I'm a sometime graphic novel junkie reader, rather than contributor. For now at least, anyway.

Hiya. I'm Dave, from Omaha. I'll be graduating from college in May with a degree in Journalism. I'd like to say I was inspired by Spider Jerusalem. And hell, maybe I was. I'll also have a minor in creative writing.
