I'm Dirk Manning and I've been stinkin' up the Interweb for several years now as the writer/creator of NIGHTMARE WORLD and TALES OF MR. RHEE, both of which can be found at www.NightmareWorld.com.
More recently, I also started scribing a column for hopeful comicbook writers titled "WRITE OR WRONG" over at www.Newsarama.com. If you haven't stumbled across it yet, you can check out a complete set of links to the archives HERE.
I'm Toga, or have been since 1984. My alma mater only knows me by that name still to this day. I am also co-creator and editor of a viral distributed minizine, Don't Look. During the day, I do tech support for the county. At night, I write, spend time with family, watch way too much telly and movies, and read as much as time allows.
Normally, I am behind the camera, so I don't have many pictures of me. Here's hubby and me at Halloween:
Hey y'all. My name is Adam, I live in Los Angeles, and I write to pay my bills. I don't like story and I don't like character development, so I just write jokes. Plus, it's quicker and I get to not have to work as much. As a writing exercise in daily absurdity, I try and post one short piece a day at nastyedsfamousvega.blogspot.com ... If you're bored and have time to kill, start your own blog, don't bother reading mine.
Hello Tom Here I have a boring job managing servers for a large telcom service corp. I live mostly in my mind, I do break free once in awhile, with the help of some calvodos, then I rant on my blog about politics or art.
Warren and you guys open my eyes to lots of interesting things. Thank you. Oh yeah I live in Fremont a neighborhood in Seattle that got gentrified when I wasn't looking.
I'm Sean. I'm "self-employed." So, I spend a lot of time at home playing with things on the internet and losing interest after a few weeks. I like to write and am working on turning that into some kind of employment.
Brent. 28. Pittsburgh native currently living in Phoenix. Long time Bad Signal subscriber. Cubicle slave. Aspiring comic book writer. Culture slut.
I'm also a ginger. And left-handed. And I have a thing for black cats, dobermans and rottweilers. My last roommate called me "Lil' Devil." I am not, so far as I know, involved in bringing about the Apocalypse. Thank you.
I'm founder/director of a paranormal security firm (athanor.org.uk). My main interests are in modern occultism and applied mythology (no shock), also books/music/comics of quality. Spiritually a Taoist heretic with side orders of Moist alchemy and multi-model approaches to the Fortean.
I live in Bristol with the two lady-loves of my life - a Scottish artist (kirstyhall.co.uk) and an expat American former neurochemist now studying Preuvian ayahuasca shamanism (website to follow!).
Here to feel the presence of Internet Jesus and pick the brains of all and sundry.
Hi, I am Don. I have no photos on the intarwub of my reflection, so you may not see any, and I humbly apologize for that. I fancy myself an artist on a good day. I self-published a book I will talk about in the printheads forum. I read comics. "Temporarily insane, waiting for a full-time position." I put that onto a shirt with fabric marker. You can use it, just make sure you give me credit when you say it. I'd appreciate it and do the same for you. I am normally too shy for these sorts of things, but I will try not to lurk too much and actively participate in other discussions.
"You see that guy over there?" "Oh, that's just Don, he's ... lurking."
Hey all, I'm Hugh Caley, originally from Metamora, Michigan, USA, now living in Albany, California (across the bay from SF).
I'm a UNIX admin professionally, and a musician. I released an album of instrumental music this year. I'm hoping to get into doing some soundtrack work in the near future.
I'm a narsty New Yorker, Brooklyn bred, Bronx dwelling. I hope to someday shank someone. Sometimes I make things. Sometimes I make myself and others gruesomely undead. I'm the one who didn't wear her seatbelt.
