This may or may not last here. Even if it doesn't, then if you read it before it goes, please yank it and distribute.

I'm possibly not the only person it'll occur to, due to ideaspace, and I hope it goes far and wide anyway.

    Right. Here goes:

    1. The BNP winning European parliament seats means they have a budget to employ staff and various sub-contractors.
    2. These budgets and staff positions are subject to anti-discrimination laws, as they come from public funds.
    3. Watch out for when these positions are advertised. If anyone sees them advertised, chuck the ads about on as many social networks, blogs etc as possible.
    4. Man the Harpoons - If you fall outside of the BNP's discriminatory membership criteria, due to being black, Jewish, whatever, apply. If you are white British and want to help out this plan anyway, just spread the idea about.
    5. When you/they don't get the job, take it to an employment tribunal.
    6. ????
    7. Profit.

Even if you're not especially bothered about taking the BNP to an employment tribunal, spreading this idea about, and forcing them to consider it and raaage over how unfair to the poor ickle racialists it is, it's still funny.

Nice idea, may not be totally practical but what the hell - I just re-posted this on my tumblr.

Oh yeah, one more, tiny thing - unless an employer can prove a clear and important need for discriminating - e.g workers in shelters for battered women - all jobs are subject to anti-discrimination laws, not just ones that are funded with public money..(pernickity bastard that I am couldn't just let that lie now could i).

Yeah, I know, however, publically funded employers actually have to have an anti-discrimination policy in place, as well as not actually discriminating, but I didn't think it worth splitting that hair for the sake of this.

You're right. If i'd not spent more hours than I care think about to sitting thru employment law as part of a training course at work, I'd have left it..It'd be interesting to read their Equality and Diversity policy statement though, as if they'd ever write such a thing...

We can only hope the fuckwits keep opening the holes in their faces, because that way people will see how shallow and idiotic their (non)-policies are..

The one worry with this is that it's something they oppose and they'd try to turn it into a test case, and if they lost they'd whinge about how it's so unfair, but meh. Still worth making them worry about it.

    From JonCarpenter's link:

Although in 2006 Griffin and party activist Mark Collett were cleared of race hate charges relating to speeches he made describing Islam as a "wicked, vicious faith", Griffin last month told BNP members in an online broadcast that he had no problem with breaking race laws.

"As you know, we don't break the law. We never have, we never will, you know, on financial things. Don't mind breaking the odd race law, or being accused of it, you know, inadvertently," he said.

Cunty Fat Hitler sounds like David Brent there. That's ruined The Office for me.

    Nicely said.

you know when i first read this idea, for some reason the first thing that popped into my head was the Scene in Lethal Weapon 2 with Joe Pesci & Danny glover at the S. Africa Consulate...

As for the Egg throwing, i loved the way he was trying to laugh it off, while his goons battered everything that were in his way. you can put Fascist thug in a cheap suit but it ain“t gonna make him polite....

It wasn't the eggs in general he was objecting to. It was the yolks.

    Because he only likes whites...

I can't tell if that's the best or worst Pun I've ever heard in my life...

    Putting on a serious hat.

There is an interesting moment in that article. If literally defines the mentality of a fascist. He wants the full force of the law unleashed on an egg thrower, becuase next time "it could be a brick".

I am not even making a slight joke here. That is exactly how the view works. And if you contemplate it, the notion that we should act now with the law like a cudgel to peoples heads, as to prevent, by intimidation, a possible bigger crime that nobody has yet committed it is utterly terrifying. The small things just stick out sometime...

He likes the yolks provided they're separated from the whites then thoroughly beaten.
