I post really super interesting and awesome things there. Also, Wisdom. In general.
But Tumblarity is a soul-sucking, heart-breaking shedevil. It makes no sense, there is no logic. No matter what my strategies, the Tumblarity always wins. I wish I could stop looking at it. There should be a button that says, "Would you like to have Tumblarity stop ruining your life?" And I would click "Yes! God, please! Save me!" -

Question for you guys--how did some of you get your latest twitter posts to show up on your tumblr page?
At the top of the page there should be a small Customise tab. Hit that, then select Feeds. There is a dropdown menu for different types.
Once you select the Twitter feed, it will update every hour or so. Which is why my lovely followers (thank you, guys) got a bunch of bullshit about Mamma Mia and Mass Effect in their Tumblr dashboard last night. Sorry.
Today I had a panic about my Tumblarity and felt compelled to photograph a sweet in the floor of a bus. Posting pics of random detritus is not going to win me any affection. -

good luck whenever you next go on holiday/vacation. Tumblr will sense this, and punish you accordingly (-1,000 points per week not thinking about it), - no matter how many posts you queue...it knows things -

@looneynerd - by the way, so far my experiments are not coming up too successful. The RSS XML isn't that great, and doesn't really expose direct links to media content - I wound up running the feed through Feedburner, with the SmartMedia tags turned on, and that helped marginally for YouTube videos, but it won't expose MP3 as files directly as all. So that leaves you with just getting pictures and videos - except that Tumblr won't correctly set a media type for stuff that it imports from feeds, either, so those are broken, leaving only pictures and videos you actually Tumbl yourself.
So that's really far away from my dream of just tagging 'share' on my Google Reader items and then being able to watch the feed of them from Tumblr on my phone or TV, but it is all just due to dumb, restrictive programming on Tumblr's part and not real technological limitations. Bah.
