Uh, i just found out that Remake/Remodel went up this week... here's a quick drawing of Q hiring himself out to AHA (Anti Houdini Association). I've imagined the International Patents Inc as more of a "villains for hire" agency, with each member available for a fee - including the diabolical Q (Stencils of your Diabolical Acronym of Doom come free for the duration of the contract). I'll try and finish up the rest of Q's crew by Sunday.

So sorry for not cleaning this up... works' been really a mess lately as i've been doing two shifts... :(

@Clone Artist; Looks straight out of the pages of early Heavy Metal. Really nice marker and concept.

Not only has the Strangler made his own solo album, he has, of course, appeared in his own 3-part comic adventure.

    man i hate meetings

Here's my contribution! I thought that like all good managers, Q would have to review his minions every once in a while. Also! Ken your stuff is off the hizzle this week, I particularly like the gimp-look for the strangler :P

Also, Paul Sizer, yours is win.

And Zombieinzen, your Q scares me. In a good way :D

EDIT: also, i realise mine is really similar in concept to Mr Sizers >_<
    Big d'oh in that department.

    Can't stop the strangling.
    Can't stop the strangling!

I was wondering why no one focused on their amazing gadgets.

Quick one this week. I would have liked to colour, but proper business stuff is making me feel too guilty to spend more time on this.

Edited to add: criticisms always welcome!

@Gomez - thanks. I was going for the fuzzy shaky-handheld-camera mystery shot, but the robot is a little more indistinct than intended.

@Krista - great stylised piece. I like the grey palette you've used for this one.

Andre Navarro - That Strangler looks great (especially the belly!)

Seej 500 - (Former catwalk model) Q the Automaton almost has a bald-Michael-Jackson-look going on there.

    rickiep00h - I love Quentin's flat cap.

JCEFalconi - Is Q's head trapped in a giant robot claw?

Robot9k - You got in with a lemur reference first!

    catafracture - Nice 'bot.

    Oxbrow - Funny! Love the dustbin-style Q.

Greasemonkey - What the f**k is happening in that picture?!

stsparky - Taking turns to be the tin can man: nice.

Zombieinzen - That's it: strangle Ben Stiller (well, the lion he voices at least!)

gomezpupato - I like the way Q is eating the electrical wiring. I think this is my favourite entry this week: the way the type on the other side of the page is merging with your line-work makes it become, well, much more 'arty'.
The Quentin Locke pic is also outstanding.

JamesMacDonald - That sign around Q's neck fools nobody!

    shetland - I like the bird/radar combo!

Paul Sizer - Your robot's definitely got the best pincers on the thread. Really love the shading on the illustration - and the chart is a classic!

Brian le Golem - You've drawn the whole gang: cool.

kperkins - Q looks very pleased with himself!

jack crowder - Love Quentin's flamboyant threads! Also, I like the different take on Q the Automaton.

Zombieinzen - I agree with kperkins: your 'bot looks quite Mobieus-esque.

DBed - Love the tarnished metal on Q, and the fact that it's filled with green fluid. You've also drawn the best rendition of the Madagascar Strangler: he's brilliant.

    kmcleod - Love the robo-ankle-joints!

Sobreiro - Superb robot: it's got a great expression!

SJordan - I like the fact you've included some Houdini-style escapology! And I really like the Strangler's pose!

    Rooth - Great! Very Warhammer-like!

    Clone Artist - Very nice.

awsomecake - Employee performance review: horribly realistic!

Neil Ofsteel - The Strangler's wearing a fez: cool!

krista - I like Dora's semi-cyborg look. Greyscale looks just fine.

Pia Guerra - Great lighting and ink work: it's like something from a classic adventure book - and the Strangler's wearing a turban!

    stsparky - ...he's behind you...

@Ken - it's in the style of the teasing-glimpse shots you always get early on in monster movies.

It appears Zombieinzen and I share the same Madagascar references...
So here, on this low-tide, partly cloudy saturday morning, are the Dictagraph, Q the automaton, Deluxe Dorothy and the Madagascar Strangler - International Patents Inc., also known in another time and place as :
    Yellow Brick Gang

@Ken Miller I start with a 2000 x 2000 pixel frame at 300 resolution and then resize to 900 width when I'm done.
