    It's Friday, here's your FREAKANGELS.

Welcome to all the new folks that've shown up the past couple of weeks. Here's a handy link The Rules here at Whitechapel. (Some people that have been here a lot longer than the past couple of weeks could probably do with another at these, too.) No one needs to apologize or say anything about last week's trainwreck of a thread -- just read or reread the rules, learn something, and move on.

Now, after everyone's done going OH MY GOD WHAT ARGH about this week's episode, ha ha, how're we all doing?

    I'm good, thanking you! *hug*

Warren and Paul..I hate you guys right now XD

This week's episode has left on quite the cliff hanger. I wonder if anyone's going to interrupt...

I'm doing good. Had fun at the NIN concert in Manchester earlier in the week.

Are you feeling full of the joys today, Ariana?

I want the opening page of the next installment to be Luke's brains, all over the dirty, dirty metal. Fuck him, filthy rapist.

I've had a fairly good week - thought I had swine flu, doesn't look I do, but still really, really achey. Found something I wrote a while back that I really liked and spurred me on a little. Also realised that I really do have the best LCS in the world. Life. Is. Okay.

I was half asleep and planning on an early night. Then I read the episode...

Then I hit page 6 and the fifty people kind of paled into insignificance. Holy crap.

And now we've got to wait another week. You bastard Warren. You magnificent bastard.

Hello Ariana! I wasn't so surprised at this episode, nor, I imagine, were many others as it was very suspect how he volunteered to 'look after' him so quickly. I imagine that the big surprise is yet to come and am looking forward to it.
I'm fine. My friend has swine flu. So his birthday celebrations have been cancelled for tomorrow. Maybe we can celebrate next weekend instead when it's my birthday too.

Wow, that was a good issue. That's going to provoke some serious discussion.

I'm pretty good. I've spent the week reading books and writing flash fiction.

Also lots of beer has been ordered.

    Beer is good.

    Great episode

I am no artist, but the use of perspective on pg 1 (Alice climbing) and pg 6 (first-person view riiight up the gun's barrel) was great. You guys are obviously not resting on your laurels.

... I don't know what hit harder this week, knowing what cleaning up after Mark entailed or seeing Kirk take first pressure...

Or the fact Jack KNEW that's what he would intend.

Hell, no way he's gonna pull the trigger - how much shit did Kait take just having a torture chamber, do we think that the rest of the FA's would sanction/condone Kirk's taking the judge/jury/executioner role upon his own head like that? But anyway that last panel's a good a cliffhanger as I've seen for a long while..(and next week, yes you can all tell me how wrong I was when he blows Mark's brains out the back of his head).

Don't you dare skip next week for SDCC!

Considering her brief cameo in panel 2, methinks that KK will make a timely arrival to save Luke's bacon. Unfortunately.

Pure awesome. Pure awesome. I am pure awesome, this is pure awesome. Warren, Paul and especially Ariana are all pure awesome.

Talk about your major cliffhangers. Couldn't Mark take apart the gun before Kirk's finger fully depressed the trigger? Couldn't he throw up a shield? I don't think Warren and Paul will let him die that easily. He's a nasty bastard, and he's got something really grisly coming to him - a bullet's too kind.

Just recently caught up on Freakangels, and am now back to hungrily awaiting its' arrival each Friday. Great stuff, especially as I'm too broke to hit my LCS and pick up the huge pile of expensive comics waiting therein.

Had a good week - wrote a short story for Ginja off a Twitter pitch, getting into #hashtags in a big way, and I get to dress up like a ghost on Saturday for work. Full of win!

Luke, people, not Mark. Kirk's talking about Mark in context of Luke's raping.

I feel like next week's installment will either show Luke suddenly awake*, with a bullet stopped just as it touches his skin, or KK finding Kirk as he disposes of the gun, body, something or other.

That or an intermission. It would certainly be a good time for an intermission.

*Luke's unconscious. That's why he was so easily used as a bench earlier. He can't very well turn the pistol into a fish if he isn't cognizant of the gun's presence.

I think by allowing Kirk to be there, alone, with Luke, they all implicitly condoned what he was going to do. They all knew the rivalry and hatred. Jack brought "supplies". Everyone agreed something had to be done, and this is really the least difficult path in the long run. I just figured there would be a little more argument involved in it.

I'm currently taking bets on whether or not Luke wakes up at a very inconvenient moment next week.

(I'm not actually. But I wouldn't be surprised, either.)

As for my week, I've survived the surprise visit of my mother in law, and I've been sleeping less and less each night. I'm starting to worry a little about that second one.

Maybe it's just me, but the last three episodes have really been spot on with the 6 pages/week pacing.

    Loving FreakAngels more than ever.

Very cool. A noise suppressant. Scavenging is a noble calling i would think. Loved the 'tune in next week; same FA time, same FA channel' ending. The sinister side of all this seems to be bubbling up within reach and is going to be more monumental than we suspect. (IMHO)

A fairly good week capped off last night with plans for my friend and fellow WhiteChapel'er (is that a word?) going to San Diego next Friday to stand in line to meet/greet Mr. Warren f-ing Ellis. It will require a lot of prep, planning and help but looks like it will occur. The hard part is figuring out how much money to spend at the Avatar Booth.

I look forward to meeting everyone there and yes, I am excited to go.

Someday after Warren has passed, if I outlive him, I will put some kind of small tribute near his grave to thank him for his incredible body of work, and what it has meant to me over the years.

And then I'll piss Isle of Jura Whisky on the headstone, because he has it coming after that last page this morning...

Well, at least there's one bright point in the day. The trio of a new episode, fresh tea, and my co-workers fear of disturbing my good mood on a Friday usually smooths over most issues.

I'm trying to nail down an issue on a possibly flawed Mac, replacing a power supply in some control equipment today (yippee! 24 volts), writing documentation for a new setup, and trying to convince the boss that the old digital camera we have isn't suitable anymore.

Instead I'm going to be wonder how Warren's tying up a serial killer, a possible execution, and the inevitable shitstorm in the next 10 episodes.

Jack, Kirk, Karl on one side. Sirkka, Arkady, KK, Kait, and possibly Kaz on the non-execution side. I don't see Connor or Miki as liking this development too much.

Going to have to re-read from the start; just looked again at episode 1 and saw that the steamguns were mentioned way back then. hmmm...

Ghagh! I've got to wait again!!!

Please don't do a skip, that would be cruel and unusual...
