whew...just caught up from the beginning in about 2 days (my job is making sure things don't fall apart, I accomplish this by drinking coffee on the patio and wandering around the interwebs) and i'm stoked on freakangels! Leisurely story pace, but I like the themes--reading this makes me feel empowered in an odd way, like its reminded me I also have all this potential to learn and develop and do cool stuff, like 'Kady said in one of the eps, taking the time to find your controls. It's also a nice daydream about rebuilding the world. oh hey, its almost friday again!
Just a quick comment before 63 pops up. We should be prepared for the idea that Kirk does in fact shoot and kill Luke. Also that such an occurance would not end Luke's appearence's in the story. Remember that there's years worth of previous occurances to use as fodder for flashbacks. And hell, a telepathic master like Luke could end up leaving a psychic "ghost" image behind in the mind of his killer to torment him. I'd say that whatever happens we haven't seen the last of Luke.
Another image has entered my brain: at the end of the upcoming episode, we see Luke, seemingly dead, with brain matter all over the wall behind him. Suddenly, his head snaps up, his eyes pop open and the final panel shows him looking right at us with a great big smirk, blood from the massive head wound streaming over his facel!
That's what I get from hankering for the next episode...
I started reading FreakAngels a couple of weeks ago slowly working through episodes 1 to 12. Then last weekend i read 13 to 62......and then it stops......the suspense is killing me. I say luke will wake up, at the last second, and directs the bullet back to kirk......all i know is the next couple of episodes are going to be bloody and messy....nice :)
Warren you made me an addict, so you better deliver this week.
im thinking either skip week, just to keep the suspense at critical levels (dont hate me if im right), or we'll end up with lukes body parts scattered around whitechapel to prevent his immortality from making him alive again (i know the FA's dont have confirmed imortality, but i realy recon they are)
