Glad you guys liked my take on the gal.
solace: The gas mask antennae idea came from messing around with the stylized way the ancient Egyptians portrayed Ma'at's ostrich feather (it can be seen on the head of Ma'at in the Egyptian pic in the bottom right section of my first illo.)
shining_lion: if you go by the name of Ma'at sometimes, does it mean you stand judgement on mankind?!

    awsomecake - Another awsomecake cutie!

kperkins - I would've liked to see a larger version of that pic.

Egypt Umash - Your comic is looking really, really fine. Is it done in Illustrator?

zomieinzen - Nice drawing style. I like the way you mix up cute imagery with gore.

jackcrowder - Now THAT'S what I call a short dress!

solace - Exquisite line-work on your pics. I especially like the scales detail on the second pic, though the first one wins by being so awesomely multi-limbed!

    3millionyears - Yup: she's angry!

David Lee Ingersoll - Sweet. I like the way you drew the semi-transparent skirt.

Okay, bye for now: I'm offline till early next week as I venture into deepest, darkest Staffordshire...

Wait, I lied - I'm back again, because I forgot to tell dancingpencil that I muchly liked his take on Miss Fairplay: a sexy nun costume! What's not to like?!

Ken Miller: My use of remnima'at came from wanting an approximation of "lightbearer." In this case, obviously meaning "bearer of truth." Remniseshep being the other option.

@ Ken Miller: Tahnks :D That's how I like my women, Cute and I mean Dangerous.

@David Lee Ingersoll: I love it. Like the Pink ladies hacked up the T-Birds and stole their jackets. Also, Ima go on record and say that I like Grease 2 better than part 1.

@kmcleod: That looks painful... I can feel the hurt on his face. Awesome prespective.

@Oxbrow: I wanna go to that school...

Goddess of Chastisement just said female Bernard from Black Books to me, so...
Funny story, I had originally done a sketch of a female Groucho Marx, but on my way to work the other day, my bag split open as I was crossing a major intersection and all my papers flew everwhere. I got most of them back, but Ms Marx didn't make it. Well, not so much a funny story as extremely irritating, but maybe the people in their cars found it funny. Bastards.

    Wow, Ken... that's awesome.
I love the design on Solaces naga like Godess, too :)

    My Turn!

Since i figured Professor Amazo might end up a minefield with legalities i took some liberty and created a new progenitor and possibly villian!
A madman, genius, tinker and person of odious personal habits - Professor Horace Obo is the man who created Lady Fairplay while randomly testing one of his strange Cosmo Beams...

I went with energy as a very literal thing... after all she's supposed to be some kind of a superhero.

    Oh and here's a more angry/stern version :)

Sorry for a lack of coloring this week :(

@zombieinzen--Thanx; I see Mary and Amazo's "special" relationship as claustrophobic.
@Ozbrow--that unique voice and approach is great.
    @Clone Artist--especially like the toaster...

@Clone Artist: I just love the way you mind sees things. Your take on things is always fun and refreshing. Love the colors and the Atomic Man cameo is a nice touch :D

Thought it would be a nice turn-around for Mary to be the controller of her powers, triggering them through sex with Professor Amazo whenever SHE needed them to fight crime.
Sorry, the line "Professor Amazo gives Mary Lee, a schoolteacher, powers through an experiment..." was just too hilariously vague not to exploit.

    Oh, that's good. *grin*

@ SJordan; I’m glad you found my piece funny! I was going for that. I first saw Lady’ with a standard whip but found that wasn’t violent enough. So I started playing with chain whips and ended up with that spine-whip. I imagine the whiplash from wounds would be a fun effect. Who doesn’t love blood splatter?
@Ken Miller; I felt how do you improve on the school teacher fantasy? Shorter dress. Tats. I had to. As far as your Lady Fairplay… just wow. Such a fresh retelling and design.
@ Awesomecake; I really love the gals you pen. They really have this post-90s fun vibe like I could bump into them on the club scene and expect them to kick my ass. Not to mention your colors always pop.
@ kperkins; The satire! Really fun! And her belt/pants really sell me as something that I’d love to redraw!
@Egypt Urnash; Just these mocks make me drool. You just sold me as a new fan, which I think is a big part of these R:Rs.
@ Zombieinzen; You reinvented this character to a whole new class and the work is so very polished. The fact you kept the style of the old boots and updated them was a great touch.
@solace; Your work just kicks down doors. I don’t think the Thor comparison is enough. With this angle, you approach the character in a way I have never really seen and that’s splendid. I never get tired of seeing your pieces.
@ David Lee Ingersoll; God, the swoosh detail on the axes and skirt make it for me. I want to know the story of this character.
@ Clone Artist; Sometimes I want to borrow your eyes. Everything is crisp and new and unlike anything I saw. Stuns me in delight.
@ Paul Sizer; To begin with, the lamp and watch are groundbreaking. Golden details. That said, love the approach and clever as all hell.

Thanks all, glad people dig the details!
I wanted to make sure that Prof. Amazo was the dorky little science nerd who would forget to take off his 1970's watch for sex. I also wanted to make the scenario show that, while it may have been his dream come true, Mary's dedication to fighting crime and demanding him to be "on standby" for sex whenever crime appears would at some point just wear him out and make him the human sexual equivalent of a phone charger.

I wasn't as adventurous as some of you this week, so bravo for those who spun this one well into the outer limits!

@Paul Sizer: lol... The watch caught my eye too. Bet the socks are on as well lol. Awesome stuff.

@Kingjolly: Is she floating amongst giant ogres? very cool...

@jackcrowder: Thanks for the kind words. My 'polished work' is the result of the amazing art I gotta keep up with on this forum. Really makes me up my game. And yeah... I was pleased with the boots too.
