I was just sent this link to start my day: http://www.wired.com/listening_post/2008/04/a-scientific-at/

Apparently it's a bit old. Parts of it are music that I don't find annoying, but as a whole... sweet jeebus. Opera rap, indeed.

**Edit: I attempted to embed the song to share with you all without clicking away, but I failed at that.

haha this is actually pretty awesome to hear. I've certainly heard MUCH worse (Some contemporary experimental music just makes me cringe). This isn't too bad. I kind of dig the bagpipes with the..is that screaming children? Makes me laugh.

My boyfriend and I are singing the part about Labor Day. It's frighteningly catchy.

Almost sounds like a They Might Be Giants b-side...

I live in Nashville, so I'm gonna say Toby Keith.

edit: couldn't get video to embed. <a href="http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/211034/november-23-2008/a-colbert-christmas--toby-keith-sings">Click here</a> and prepare yourself for the horror.

I haven't listened to it yet , but I assume its just Sting and Toploader alternating tracks.

As the link points out , the most wanted music is far worse. I quite like bagpipes myself.

@ Kernowdrunk - I got 45 seconds into the most wanted one and then I vomited up my own spinal cord. The unwanted one was actually kind of pleasant.

Kind of sounds like Negativeland, in a way. The winner I got out of this is http://www.wired.com/listening_post/2007/05/kevin_shields_v/

400 guitarists playing at once. If you like drone and subtle variation, this is not to be missed.

The most wanted music is ludicrous. And it aged terribly either.

I love this song. Used to play it on my radio show at WCBN FM Ann Arbor when it first came out.

I love all the kids segments.
