I'm glad Garth Ennis went back to these characters, the talking rabbit was very funny in the first mini. I will be purchasing it with my ill gotten gains.
  1.  (6571.3)
Can't wait, loved the first two miniseries.
  2.  (6571.4)
I really enjoyed the first series. I got the tpb when it first came out, and recently bought the HC for my bookshelf. I was disappointed when I first heard Jacen wouldn't be penciling the book this time around, but the preview looks amazing.
  3.  (6571.5)
I buy anything that Ennis puts his name on, kinda disappointed Jacen isn't doing the art but I don't want anything holding Crossed back any later.
  4.  (6571.6)
Yes, it's going to be interesting. I missed the bunny.

Wow, the bunny's got a CIGAR now! I look forward to this. Judging by the cover, the art looks pretty cool.
  5.  (6571.8)
    Excellent. I love these characters.
Oscar Jimenez is an excellent replacement for Jacen.

    ^seconded, I like the art.

I enjoyed it, but didn't love it. It is just a teaser, after all. More importantly, it's one of the few things (along with AIR and FABLES) that The Boss really enjoys reading, and gives me a bit of wiggle room wrt my other comic spending.

Is anyone reading this? They're 4 issues in and even though I haven't read any other Wormwood, I'm fuckin addicted to this series. Miles ahead of Crossed and The Boys, which I think of as just shock comics with some characters I never gave a rat fuck about. I've been loving Wormwood anyway but I got number 4 this past week and rounded up 1-3 and read them all in one go, and I keep going back and reading it again. Fucking amazing.

@Spike3185 - Yes sir, I too just received #4 and sat down to re-read the series thus far in one shot. Great book! I miss this side of Garth Ennis. I love his Hellblazers and Preacher (of course), along with many many many of the other things he's written, but I stopped buying everything he does without question because although I still buy The Boys (and will until the end) I do kind of feel as though it's taking its initial promise to 'out Preacher Preacher' too far. And it seems a bit congested (although this may be due to reading it monthly instead of in trades). I like the story, but something seemed to happen after those initial couple issues when Vertigo dropped it and Dynamite picked it up. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but I LOVED those first issues and ever since I've only ever been luke warm on it. Crossed, from the descriptions people I know who read it have given me, sounds as though it was someone asking Mr. Ennis to go as far out as he could think to go. I've been told I'm wrong, that that is not the entirety of the book, and having David Lapham coming on board makes me really interested, so we'll see. But yeah, I'm really enjoying Wormwood. Especially the Jay stuff and the bunny's origin as discussed in the third issue (or was that the fourth?)
