I play ambient/industrial improvisational looping music using Chapman Stick and theremin, live loop devices, and lots of effects pedals.
More info over here, samples and examples at here.

    Other currently active projects:
Ouroboros - parasitic recursive live improvisational sampling and processing (me) of tuba (David Morris) - Ouroboros Sounds
Cab Caligari - instrumental acoustic cello (Randy Pelosi) and electric upright arachnobass (me).

Thumbprint Railway Co. is my main source of musical output. I play drums, sing, and occasionally hit keyboards in that band. We have been told we sound like The Clash covering The Band and also like The Animals fooling around with The Dead Milkmen.

For Boston area folks, we are playing our next show at The Bulfinch Yacht Club on December 21, our first gig since my daughter came along a few months ago. More shows to pop up afterwards, I'm sure.

We also recently finished an EP of three songs, which can be downloaded at our website, or our myspace.

Other than that I am also working on finally recording the seven or eight songs I've written personally over the last few years. I dig music.

I make and DJ techno. You can listen to clips and DJ sets on my website at djfractal.net, and buy my music from stores like Beatport and Juno.

I also run a small online label called Tide Pool that puts out techno and odd ambient and such like. Boom-tss, Boom-tss.

Guitar and vocals with occasional keys for me.

Too scatterbrained to finish an album ever, but started one a year or so ago.

Usually restricted to solo acoustic gigs in local pubs.

    yar.
    my crap is here:
myspace.com/onlookersounds (record due out for download by mid january)
    onlookersounds.org
    here:
    bsidedesign.com (dig for it)
    and here:
    myspace.com/themagicbabies

i play keyboards, the pooter, guitars and sing(and then bury it in effects because i'm shy).
i moved to North Carolina because i wanted to do scores and soundtracks for the "film scene" but that never panned out because the 90s sucked. I still really want to do that.
in fact, lately, i have really been wanting to score an animation - not an anime mindfuck but something more like Bakshi but more of an indie feel - i love the way sound can be used as a transition and set the pace of the ambience/lighting. well, now i sound crazy.

I used to record some sort of big electro noise under the name Rhythm & Detonation, but I started devoting less and less time to it over years. Now, I miss doing it, and I'm thinking about starting up again.

Here's some of the old stuff, culled from my old website and myspace. Don't know how well it holds up, though.

    Shyfter
    Panic on the Radio
    The Condition of Muzak
    Men of Science
    Bent
    The Tangential Influence of Sensibilities

I've played ze bass for something around 15 years now I guess, have been in various bands throughout the years but now I'm doing a solo project

    Farewell, Shootka!

It's an all bass project creating mostly stoner/doom type stuff. I'm having fun with it, might start a full band with it eventually.

I'm in a band called LOEB. We have been described as:

Neither metal nor punk, not post-rock or its hardcore cousin. It is rock music played by rock fans bearing wicked smiles and it makes [you] feel fucking brilliant. - by mike diver at Drowned in Sound

Which is nice of him to say. We got a gig at the camden underworld on 9th (which is a sunday, which sucks).

I'm also in Fear of Spiders - an art/noise/installation project that is in it's formative stages - when we finally record our first EP I'll let you know. I'd mention what kind of stuff we do but consider it hush hush.

I haven't listened to anything else in this thread yet, but damn, screaming meat, LOEB's enjoyable.

I play drums for Your Favorite Assassin. That name's only gotten us in trouble a couple times.

We used to be post-hardcore, but I'm not sure what that means anymore. We aim for dynamic and our live show's still dangerous, so it's fast rock and roll regardless, except when it's quiet and slow.

I play keyboards, guitars and just about anything I can get my hands on that will make noise. I'm the other half of Munin218's project: The Sound Of Her Wings. She provides all the lyrics and lovely vocals and I bang around on the instruments.

I've written lyrics for a Frank Sinatra-sorta song about my college-home. Other than that, I play the dashboard drums.

My personal: http://www.myspace.com/musim - I do whatever I want. You may be enjoying a dance song one minute only to encounter several minutes of various frequencies of static for the next song. If I can find a female singer locally I can stand I might even start pushing this act a lot farther. But I can't so I just like pointing at it now and again.

My band (more crowd friendly): http://www.myspace.com/axis - We've been called Industrial Punk or Industrial or whatever. I'm bad with labels.

my semi-retired laptoptronica solo project (though since it's just me it doesn't have to split up) can be found at myspace.com/grnr. playing live shows with a laptop is fun when you mask the fact that you're not really doing much by dancing like a loon and shouting.

my current focus is me band who can be found at myspace.com/findogaskuk. we have a 12" coming out on glasgow's OSCarr (optimo singles club) label next monday. which is nice.

i like electronic things. i really want a wiimote to use as a MIDI controller but everything Wii related is silly pricey at the moment.

i play the accordion and mandolin in a very amateur celtic band in chicago: tom nevers head. there's a bunch of .mp3s to listen to for free on our site. oh, and we're on myspace too.
