I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
Mark is sending human missiles into Whitechapel, he can turn a person like Alice into a gun-wielding vigilante, he can slip weapons undetected to the new folks, everyone's worried about him poking around out there, taking advantage of the tiny brain humans.

Luke knows how to get executed by the rest of the Freakangels. Arkady gave him explicit instructions on how to get the death penalty by abusing his abilities, and yet we are to believe he was engaging in this exact inexcusable behavior in broad daylight a few hours later, a few rooms over from the cop, while asking for privacy during the act.

Who, if anybody, would send Luke a romantic afternoon with a human drone? If it can happen in Vegas it can happen in sci-fi, right?

Well, to be fair, I don't think "gun-wielding vigilante" is really that far outside Alice's normal character.

Let's not jump too quickly on the the idea of Mark being an omniscient super-villain. Luke is perfectly capable is being a self-destructive fuck-up of his own free will.

The other Freakangels don't know Kirk's been torturing Luke. (Or do they?) And now it's raining, they're not gonna want to go outside and check on him. (Arkady can teleport but the others can't[? yet? ever?].)

Then again, he trangressed the Unwritten Law, so ...

Let's not jump too quickly on the the idea of Mark being an omniscient super-villain.
It doesn't have to be Mark sending out drone room service right? if that's what happened I mean. There are others who could do it like any of the unseen FA's or even Arkady who might regret having rescued Luke way back at the beginning, and who is known to monkeywrench on her own. I've always wondered what her statement "it's getting worse" really meant in light of her playing independently with future events. You can make stuff a lot worse by playing with future events, maybe she was trying to fix what she broke in her own way. I dunno.

I like how there was a hurricane heading toward Scotland in real life when the warning went out in Whitechapel that a storm was coming in. How did that turn out I wonder?
