Here's the first public look at series artist Facundo Percio's take on Anna. This inked study was his first piece of art for the character, I believe.

More art from Facundo and other Anna Mercury info coming soon. Check out the Anna Mercury project page for cover art and more. The full color mini series written by Warren with art by Facundo Percio begins in April.

Ooooh, I like it! I've liked all the art for Anna Mercury that I've seen so far. Looks like a great team you've got there!

Sweet. Love the white/negativespace and the ratio of light to dark.

I think I prefer this to the other versions I've seen where she's wearing a lot of makeup. Of course this is without knowing anything about her character.

Wow! Another miniseries from Avatar. I would like see more miniseries or graphic novels like the Apparat's Crécy. Diamond just send one and only issue of Doktor Sleepless to the humble comic shop in Buenos Aires were I buy. That's to hard wait for a "ongoing" comics.

Anna really reminds me of a Russ Meyer's character.

    That's gonna be a great-lookin' book.

Wow. I'm gay and even I think she is hot...
...this does have some good signs about it...I'll be picking it up.

Beautiful artwork. I'm drooling for this series now.

I just got a new batch of pages from the artist today, he gets better with every panel. This is really going to be something special, Warren is firing all sorts of sci-fi madness into the pages.

    This is very good.

One thing that seems to differentiate great artists from the rest - especially in comics, where so much work is done with people flying around and jumping across sharks and shit - is a strong sense of mass, of where a body keeps its weight. This a good example of beautifully captured mass.
