    I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
    Don't know if it's been announced anywhere, but in 2009 and 2010 Top Shelf is going to make it real easy to become well-versed in Eddie Campbell's work by releasing Alec and Bacchus Omnibi.

    No word about format, but one hopes they'll be reasonably priced softcovers, perhaps in the $35 price range like we saw for the excellent From Hell Graphic Novel. Maybe $40, to account for inflation by 2009-2010.

    I already have the Alec books, but might consider the big book if the new (old) stuff seems worth it.

    Some of the best comics made by anyone anywhere. Like something awesome made by that friend you've known forever, who just tells the best and funniest stories.

    I have all the Alec books, but the Bacchus books are increasingly hard to find, and an easy two volume collection of the whole thing is magnificently welcome. And the extra stuff in the Alec Omnibus is obviously worth a look.

    I have only sporadic Bacchus floppies and no Alec stuff, but not for want of looking. I will definitely be purchasing these, thanks for the heads-up.

    I'd say even if you have all of the Alec books, an omnibus is still a must buy.

    I've bought every Alec book as they came out, so this will be the fourth time I buy some of this stuff...
    Funny though, as much as I like Alec, I've never clicked with Bacchus, just doesn't engage me at all.
