It's Friday, it's FREAKANGELS: In which Luke still has a gun.
Hihi internet! I was without dependable access (read: nothin' but phone and wobbly stolen wireless) until TUESDAY. I may have almost died. Well, I could have. Okay fine it was never dire, but it was somewhat inconvenient. Everyone still in one piece?
Hello Ariana. I've had the flu (don't know which one because it would have required blood analysis and that's not worth it I've been told) Anyway it's just a flu: you feel like shit, you have a massive headache, your bones ache, you're freezing and, well I'm not going to give details about going to the bathroom. The doctor tells me I can go back to work on Monday, though. Good. Is that it? Well yes. Great to have a sickleave though. Our healthsystem allows that.
That's why I could read the latest episode so soon, yey! The pace is getting so fast I'm feeling dizzy. Hey, KK watch out! Shitbiscuits! (something new to write on tshirts)
Really enjoying having my sympathies toyed with like this - Luke just blew what little tolerance toward him I'd built up, though it's very interesting to see just how much he clings to his 'hunted child' mentality.
My week has been good thanks Ariana, but for reasons too banal to go into here. Hoope you have fully functioning broadbands again soon.
First week back at work after a month off. Enough said. At least (like Ariana) I have internet again.
Another wonderful depiction of rain there Paul. I actually misread the perspective for the first few seconds and thought Kirk was sending out some kind of psychic blast wave that almost knocked KK off the bike however many miles away she is. And I third/fourth/fifth the question why she's even flying in that weather?
So, someone was maybe behind Kait, then mysteriously vanished? Has someone apart from Arkady pushed the package to the point of teleportation?
I take it that the purple trail behind the bullet meant that Luke was directly propelling it to hit KKs copter. Well he's pissed on his Freakchips now, shooting Kirk could be argued as six of one and half-dozen of the other, but going after KK is further still.
Especially as Arkady will be taking MIki over to Kirk and so might not be around to pull KK back to safety. This is beginning to feel like the last episode of Blake's Seven
@Purple Wyrm - i thought that someone is still in the building with Kait using a spyscope (hence fisheye in final panel last week)
I'm alive, had too much german food and beer last night, but all in all that's not a bad thing. it took a few days to get back into the swing of things at work after my week of vacation.
nice episode, the pace has really picked up and I'm looking forward to the resolution of this book
Good FA's Friday Ariana, I find myself thinking more and more about the 'news' from WhiteChapel and the daily goings of the angels than I am about the dreadful goings of the real world. {ALMOST} Between this storyline and some-others of Warren's; I find myself in awe of his near future seeing abilities. Paul, you are becoming a force. Good on you! I will venture forth into the world today to pay some bills and doctor visit. Next PetScan in scheduled for Oct. 5th. We will see.
Hi Ariana - hope your day is going well. Splendid ep. Paul's use of the rain is exceptional. And I can easily deal with waiting a week for the next second, knowing it'll all just flow together when the trade comes out.
In other news I HAZ CHIKKINZ. Wife-the-artist, as part of our self-sufficiency drive, acquired a pair of chickens for egg-producing purposes. They were installed this morning (yep, here in Blighty you have to get a chikkin installer) in their high-tech habitat called, seriously, an Eglu (the pic here has chikkinz that look just like ours too). We like them - so does the cat who stares in awed hunty fascination.
This last little run is the best the series has been, and the 6-pg cutoff has never hit me as hard as today. What are we, just 2 episodes out from the end? I would almost rather endure another skip week just to finally get to blast through the thing in one go, quite a bit seems liable to erupt on the next 12 pages.
Thank you, Misters Ellis & Duffield & Avatar (and whoever the lady is who Paul brought in a while back to help him on coloring), for just giving us this weekly blast of Good every Friday.
