Simply fantastic. One of my favorites.

I'm not seeing Space Shark as simple, unpretentious fun. I don't love it (just) because it's a shark in space (although that's a big part of it). This is a genuinely good webcomic.

Keep going, Chris. And thanks for it.

That second-to-last panel is fantastic. The brain fills in the falling shark sound beautifully.

If there is a shark in space cracking skulls and nobody is around to hear it, is it still totally freaking awesome?

    "Bring It!!"

    And you did.

Heh, I love the FPS style frame - a very nice touch! The snapshot style of the strip works really well, too - the way that this huge, colourful universe is being built up, but that we only get to see a little of it at a time.

Thanks guys, I am glad you dig it ^_^

texture - thx for talking about SS in your web diary!
curb - this was my most fun episode yet. I like that you're getting "it." Not that there's much TO get, but yeah ;)

PS: There isn't much extra Space Shark stuff other than the episodes, but I've set up a Facebook Fan Club.

Agreed.... it's all concept, but that would mean nothing without the fantastic dialogue, bold linework and absolutely stunning inks... Space Shark is that rare thing, an artwork that both matches and exceeds the promise of its premise.

    Also, it ROCKS.

I really love this one. Maybe it's the Star Trek spoof, maybe it's Space Shark leaping on top of his ship to shoot at bastards, who knows, I just know it like every other page thus far kicks ass!

I think I've made my feelings about this strip clear enough by now, but ... WOOOOOO! MOAR! MOAR!
  6.  (6982.176)
    Space Shark, you beautiful bastard.
  7.  (6982.177)
Oh Space Shark, you terrify me but I do love you.
  8.  (6982.178)
    Nice work Chris.
I have to say... that is one Bad. Ass. Shark.
I've been lurking here and reading along... this one was one of my favorites.
May I be so bold as to make a ... request?
Can we see more of Space Shark eating things? I dont know why I just have this urge to see him devouring things... like I dont know... that other Captain... a giant space squid... um... anything? I need to see some Space Shark doing what a giant predator does best... nom nom nom...
or you could just keep doing the great work you've been doing without any nonsense suggestions from me.
Thanks again for the fun stuff.

I thought to myself, why is this year not feeling as humorous? Now I know, it needs more Space Shark.
