Has anyone had any troubles viewing the comic? At home, on both FIrefox and IE, randomly half ofpages won't load and, depending on the browser, different pages have problems. For instance, the bottom half of page two was just a block of gray on FF and the bottom half of page five was gray on IE.
I agree with the mob - it's Mark. That explains why Kait was blocked from the mass call. It's not Luke blocking her. It's Mark, following her around. I like it.
The one aspect of this I didn't like was Alice heading out with the shotgun. Either (a) she's leaving the lookout unmanned, or (b) she's going to try to get a shot off from the steeple, which isn't likely to do much good with a shotgun. And the good thing about Alice is that normally she's very practical.
@Stefan - That's -exactly- what I was thinking. The silhouette of the hair and coat immediately reminded me of Connor. Could just be that Mark has similar hair/attire, but still... This is where if it were a movie, we could recognize the voice and know already. Now we have to wait. Argh!
Assuming that the downstrokes not started, and that that Kait's a swordswoman. Cut her fucking head off! hahahaha. Lovely ending. Its all going slightly tits up.
I think everybody deserves a skip MONTH! Warren because he has enlightened our last weeks with this fantastic volume three, plus a magnificent cliffhanger. I am so glad none of us has expected such an end of a volume! Paul too, deserves a skip month, because his art keeps getting great and fine and stunning with velocity. He deserves a little rest, or a time to watch after the ones he loves and do something a bit different, breathe. Ariana and the others because of all this good work and the constant attention given to us whitechapelers, and the tact and the caring et al. And us because this has been so good, so good, we need to get back to volume one and enjoy each and every panel up to this incredible rollecoaster. I'm saying that but I know I'll be waiting for next Friday.
I mean thank you. There's no rapper named Thank You (weird, I know), and I will leave off pictures of Led Zeppelin, Alanis Morrisette, and Duran Duran for the sake of all of us here, but yeah - thanks you vicious assholes for the best volume yet, and all that you do.
Good afternoon Whitechapel! I've been sick. *cough*
Freaking awesome cliffhanger, but you forgot one detail, boys: The little "FreakAngels, Book Three, The End" + logo at the bottom corner. Also, I must point out Page 3: GIRL-CONNOR!!
My first thought for the end is MARK, of course, but @JonCarpenter- Never thought about a FreakDaddy... but I am now.
@Stephan Says- I don't think it's Connor... the silhouette of the coat isn't right (was going to say something about the hair, but remembered what rain can do).
holy shyt-tainted spikes of rapture in my eyeballs batman! Talk about a cliffhanger. Spectacular job, sirs. The last two panels were especially awesome this week.
Will we be put out of our misery next week or can we expect a skip filled with info on how when where to order Book 3 I wonder...? Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing if she'll get her head chopped, or F someone up with mind bullets, or whatever fuckery Mr Ellis comes up with. tee hee
Since everyone's complaining how bad of an ending this would be to a print collection:
I'm going to theorize that next week, rather than a full FA comic, we get a single, glorious, full-page panel illustration of the infamous Mark standing in that shadowy room with a really sharp sword held over his head, probably tossing off one brief, final parting quip.
