I rarely listen to single songs... I go for albums.
Basement Jaxx - Scars (A few really good tracks, and some typical Jaxx filler inbetween.) Muse - The Resistance (Not as good as the previous one... I'm missing the goosebumps factor. Still worth a listen.) Mew - Frengers (Surprisingly good. Weirdest band I've seen at the top of bestseller lists since Radiohead did Kid A, though.) Tommy Tokyo & Starving For My Gravy - Smear Your Smiles Back On (Kind of like a cross between Queen and Johnny Cash.)
the last songs i listened to: crappy american boyband - crappy song crappy british boyband: crappy song crappy american boyband - crappy song crappy american boyband - crappy song crappy british female artist - any song dito dito dito (weird feeling it seems to be IN to be british and have a weird voice) feeling pissed by english speaking radio (only one?) ...i have to add, i had to listen to the radio, bec. i was invited to a nice bowling evening by friends... whatever that means...

I love Erik Satie. He was such a smartass. But speaking of fabulous classical pieces, are you familiar with Henryk Gorecki's Symphony #3 Symphony of Sorrowful Songs? It's probably my favorite piece of classical music. It's very haunting. The text for the first movement was taken from an inscription carved in a Gestapo prison cell in Poland.
Flaming Lips - Embryonic Atlas Sound - Logos Yoko Ono - Fly + Walking on Thin Ice The Very Best - Warm Heart of Africa Broadcast and the Focus Group - Witch Cults of the bla bla bla The Wedding Present Fausto - Madrugada dos Trapeiros Dinosaur Jr - Farm Elvis Costello - My Aim Is True Yo La Tengo - Popular Songs No Age - Losing Feeling Fools Gold - Surprise Hotel Diamond Rings - All Yr Songs 12"
Just picked up Perverelist's Erstwhile Riddm/The Grind vinyl. Erstwhile Riddim definitely captures what I have been digging about dubstep. Big, dark and mournful.
Peeping Tom- s/t (I don't necessarily want to become one of those "Patton is God" folks, but I do rather like his stuff.) Double Helix- Future Proof (<3) OhGr- Sunnypsyop The Faint- Wet From Birth Tom Waits- Rain Dogs Amanda Palmer- Who Killed...
@Boga_ Not sure, should be out soon but the closest I can come to finding a release date is "any day now" on a couple of blogs. Hoo-rah for the internet!
Edit: The album art for "Jarvik Mindstate" is being done by Kid Shirt of the fantastically fucked up Ice Bird Spiral. Awesome.
