    Will we see another Wolfskin series (sort of announced last year i think) by you?

    I did outlines for a new Wolfskin mini, which I guess will see print mid-to-late 2010.

    Will Ignition City get another mini?

    Probably not. At best, not for a couple of years. But I don't think there's a burning commercial desire for more Ignition City out there...!

    Even though you will be busy with the novel and the movie scripts - do you have a large backlog of work that has been written and will see print anyways (supergod, Captain Swing, Dok Sleepless, etc?) next year??

    Not a large one, no. So beyond those three titles, you won't be seeing a lot more from me, I think. Unless I work out a way to do otherwise, of course.

    Have you ever attended a parent/teachers evening only for the science teacher to make eye contact with you and go "oh shit!" in case you ask them difficult questions about quantum foam?

    Do you ever get the chance to support/check up on Southend RUFC (i always found them good oppositon to play against when playing for Millwall)

    When are we likely to see your next Apparat "real History" title (i.e Crecy). i remember you asking for suggestions, but my impressionable nephews need their next history fix....

    Oh and are you a Jeremy Kyle or Trisha sort of person when you wake up in the morning?

    A guy at work used to be a forensic IT officer for the police, piecing together files from badly-destroyed hard drives.
    If you still have your nixxed drives and he's got the time, would you be willing to have him see if he can pull any more off them than you already have?

    Also I wondered if anything came out of the open discussion you and Ariana had about hidden networks, channels, feeds and the like. I still go back to that once in a while because it made a lot sense.

    For some reason, I've always thought it was a shame there wasn't a minutemen-like drawing of the seven of them in their prime.

    Sorry, for embarassing you. It was just my gut reaction from the first reading.
    I've always had a strange fascination with time travel stories, especially dealing with time paradoxes, and you provided a new twist in the concept that I've never heard of till now.
    It's a challenge to write such a story, to try to juggle, a complex, and easily confusing concept, provide an original take on it, and still entertain and provide an emotional connection between the reader and the characters. Not easy. In fact, I'm having trouble thinking of other examples at the moment.

    Anyway, back to the interrogation.
    Have you read any excellent time travel stories that you can recommend?
    Have you ever considered writing a story specifically dealing with time paradoxes? If you already had, what is it, so I can go buy it.

    Despite your stellar work under a democratic government, is there any particular system you feel you'd write better under - one more stimulating to your socio-cultural commentary gland? While we're at it, is there any particular system you'd prefer to live under for other reasons?

    When not mandated by the publisher (and I don't know when it's not) is there a roundabout number of pages you aim for in an issue? Do you just write until a good end or do you have to sometimes stretch it a bit to give it more weight/length?

    Most of the music you've posted on your blog and on the Jukebox thread seems to be rather ambient, thought/spirit-provoking music, so I could hazard a guess that music bounces off the walls of your place most of the time. Do you listen to music while you work? If so, do you let the mood the music sets find it's way into the work?
