I read that and immediately thought Ozymandias. Maybe I'll actually get in on this one instead of just lurking and thinkin aboot it.

Holy shit; I might even draw something.

Such is the might of this selection.

@ Jess; what has that puppet ordered you to do thus far?

@ tedcroland; What a fantastical scene! I love everything going on there. Superb layout. I adore the sock puppet head!

@ Rootfireember; I expect grand things from that sketch. It's going to be another one of your masterpieces.

@ twentythoughts; It has everything. Mad brilliant design. I adore how you worked that eye logo in.

Damn! This is the first thing from the brain now ...

Well I kind of pre-empted this a while ago by combining the Northampton Warlock with his God in the form of the Shaman demon Muer.

@Ix -- I second Roo. That is incredible...and should be sent to Alan Moore.

@jackcrowder -- It's only ordered me to get coffee thus far, so it doesn't get put in the laundry for now.

@ jackcrowder: Nice textures in your coloring
    @ Ix: Very cool

Here is my first entry for this redesign (I am working on a more drawing intensive piece). It was the first thing that came to mind when I read the Wikipedia entry link.

@DBed - Yay! Finally! Someone's pulled away from the sock puppet and Alan Moore influences.

I've been working up an idea that pulls away from those two influences as well, but I'm not sure if I'll have time to work on it because I just got a work contract that I need to work on ASAP if I wanna keep the bills from piling up! o.O

Hopefully I'll find some spare moments. I've been missing the REMAKE/REMODEL threads and I'm happy to see them back in play at WhiteChapel.

DBed, you are my new design hero this week.
    Brilliant!

DBed: I'm imagining that as a cool promo for a Cartoon Network animated series (in a good way...). Super-cool!

Jess: That is the most ridiculously cute snake god deity sock puppet I've ever seen.
lx: Gorgeous! I love the use of the venomous green shades.
    DBed: Fantastic design! Love it.

Dammit, lx, stop amazingly outclassing everyone so early in the thread! Now everyone has to, like, come up with completely different concepts so they're not just doing yours-but-not-as-good! Which is a truly horribly bad evil thing in a creative thread. Yes.

Continuing the poster-trend from the previous thread is a good Other Way to do it. Nice design, there, DBed... Now I wanna see the Book of Glycon.

And thanks, jackcrowder! I like the way you did the priest dude's cloak, textures and all.

I was doing an Illustrator demo for my design students and I ended up with this.
Glycon needed a more corporate look to his brand identity anyway...
    More interesting ideas to follow...hopefully...

Not so satisfied with this, as it lacks more or less anything that could be considered dynamic to my eyes - but the idea is there.

I think I'll try again, and just let myself get completely unhinged.

Berserker, I quite love your concept. It's actually a bit creepy!

Just a quickie as a break from painting.

    Why it's got a board and a neck-tie, I really couldn't tell ya.
