Those of us that have been paying attention for a while know that Warren's a bastard-- next week's episode is just as likely to switch to chikkinz-cam or a six-page-long shot of the river as it is to give any sort of satisfactory resolution to the current suspense.

Clearly, your best course of therapeutic action is to buy the first three trades of the book, and inflict this same pain on one of your best friends.

As far as online vs print readers, my first introduction to Freak Angels was when I saw the first book at a comic book store. Bought it, read it, loved it--then I spent the next few days perusing my favorite comic stores trying to find current issues of the comic because I thought it was a monthly comic. When I didn't find it, I figured I'd have to look for issues on ebay, so that was the first time I googled "Freak Angels"...and promptly felt like a raging idiot.

My only comfort is that I didn't ask any comic book store employees when they expected to get the next issue of Freak Angels. As for new FREAKANGELS merch, the only thing that's come to mind is a line of steam-powered vibrating condoms named after each of the Freakangel characters. Which only demonstrates a massive case of Marketing Fail, so don't mind me.

That aside, the week has been a mix of insane lack of sleep hell and the horrified realization I'm about to embark on a couple of small writing projects over the next week which may result in my speaking in bizarre tongues by the time the next FREAKANGELS episode roll around.

The only liveliness provided by the week was a pop-by for the crowds hoping for a glimpse of President Obama during a fundraising visit. The crowd was a mix of teabaggers, single payer advocates, US out of Afghanistan sorts, and the like. I left before the President emerged. But my eyes at least rolled after getting a re-confirmation that teabagger groups are stupidity magnets. I was sad to see no issue this week, but that's okay. I've got new toys to keep me occupied.
my step daughters' mom is hightailing it out of ky again and can't take her awesome stuff with her, so she sold us her ps3 and fourty inch hd tv for a song (and a place to stay for a week before her plane is scheduled, to get away from the crazy she's dealt with). I also got choice picks of her cd and blueray/dvd collections. I am totally digging on this christmas in october thing..heh...i got rock band. I can't play the instruments anymore because of my arthritis, but I can karaoke, and I kick ass at that.
