    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clayton_Counts - the other half. I don't know about you, but I find the idea of a Beatles/Beach Boys mash-up absolutely brilliant and I shall be finding that soon.

    I prefer the more pleasant drones on the site, but I'd say these guys would've done an excellent job if they were commissioned to write the Dead Space soundtrack. Some of the drones are pretty frightening.

    @ offtandiscord: Many thanks! Although perhaps it should read, "regardless of how sillily long a few of their pieces are." I wouldn't consider something that lengthy a "song" in the traditional sense, and to be fair the great majority of what we do isn't so daunting.

    @ newspaperdrone: I wouldn't bother, unless you're a masochist. That remix was deservedly met with consternation. Fair warning.

    Each one is mixed down as a single file, and then split up into sections. I learned to exploit the weaknesses (strengths?) of certain audio editors by slowing down the tempo, etc. Little trade secret. It took more than a week of dedicated computer time to process the most recent piece, and after three days I'm only about halfway finished uploading it. The next one will take even longer. If you're interested in making such absurd files, there are far easier and quicker methods, if you don't mind reusing the source material. You can simply copy pieces of audio, rename the pieces accordingly (.001, .002, etc.), and then use a file joiner to stitch the data together. I prefer having some variation, however slight, although I have made a couple this way as proof of concept.
