I'm Going as Tom Noir, check out my helmet so far. It's made from duct tape, card board and a 3 year old's firefighter helmet(at least the glass visor bit anyway). Enjoy!!!
Sorry so blurry, I have a shit camera. Cheers!!
EDIT BY WARREN: WILL FIX IMAGE FOR YOU IN A BIT, IMAGEBUCKET CAN BE A BIT WEIRD
When I first got glasses a couple years ago, I went as Clark Kent. Some years I've been " the quiet neighbor next door who keeps to himself". This year I need a t-Shirt with the word "Costume" on it.
A couple years ago I went as a homeless man with a sign around my neck that said "The End Is Nigh." People kept asking what "nigh" meant and said this homeless man was too well read for being able to use such a word. I thought that was silly since "the end is nigh" is kind of the stereotypical crazy homeless man slogan.
A couple of sheets, a Fez, shades and two days' worth of face mullet (or black makeup) and--voila!--instant Muammar Qaddafi! Now if I could only find a couple of Amazons in military uniforms to come along as bodyguards...
Thursday at work (I work IT at a High school) is super hero day. It kinda mashes up the fact that Halloween is this week, and Red Ribbon week which is an anti drug thing. Any one have any fabulous ideas of a super hero thing I can do on the cheap? (I live in the middle of nowhere, and do not have access to shopping).
My fall-back costume in previous years has been created with fake eyelashes, and three colored eyebrow pencils: I draw a fairly realistic third eye in my forehead and dress otherwise normally. It's easy, super cheap, and results in double-takes all night long.
@Warren Indeed I was :) I've brought my stripped down KK jacket (and signed 1st volume, thanks for that :D) to uni, I'm thinking about wondering into Dave's Comics with it on and blagging a discount on something.
I need something to fix my goggles :S lenses keep falling out as they are very, very homemade.
