@fan: now I am a little frightened by your youtube-fu. I will concede your point and stop being facetious; please do not send me any diagrams or martial arts books. The video was pretty interesting, though. I'm glad you liked the costumes and facial expressions.
Someone needs to get a job & since "super" Ann never finished high school the only job she could get was at Mc-Gees. Sucks to be her, talk about being Munsoned.
@elliotmears - I had the same thought. Maybe it's all the Murakami I've been reading, maybe it's all the "Uncharted 2" being played in the house, but...
...Ann Hoshiko, abandoned by her destitute parents one winter in the bitter north of Hokkaido, stumbles into a cave for shelter and comes across an alien descendant of the same super-race that created Shambhala. There she trains to become a mystical assassin who can leap pagodas in a single bound because hey, what else does she have going on.
Real quick you know something that "Fan" said to elliotmeaner bothered me. SuperAnn suppose to be as strong as superman right? I'm pretty sure supes' could balance a VW on his pinky if he wanted to right? Then the tendons & muscles in her feet should be strong enough to balance her in any possition shes in right? And if you don't agree with that why don't we do like the Muppet Babies & stretch the imagination huh?
@viol8tor - Fan was, of course, perfectly correct and I should have known better than to tease him, since that kind of thing never ever works correctly on the internet. Also, I am going to insist that everyone I know addresses me as "Elliot Meaner" from now until my death. Thank you.
Not quite what I was imagining, but since it actually ended up looking like something I'd draw, I guess I succeeded... After seeing Where the Wild Things Are, I wanted to do something really whimsical, and while I sort of did that, I still ended up putting weird dashed lines all over Super Ann (and nipples...), so I don't know.
