    @CEFalconi : She reminds me of Catherine fro Wapsi square kind of crossed with the other mother from the recent Coraline animation. Creepy cool.

    It's no wonder we always see artists using her twenties outfit. It was the best.

    @Meatgun - Love it! Especially her stripey socks.

    @lx - gorgeous as always!

    @frequentcontributer - Seriously great. I think I like the ballpoint pen version better - I find myself noticing more of the details.

    @Ken - Awesome!!

    Meatgun - Really nice design, colours and composition, my favourite so far
    Jurgan - Nice and creepy, the second one is cool, with the rocky-monster-hermit
    Elliot Mears - Cute and fun
    Frequentcontributor - Love the sense of fun in it, like a kid who has superpowers would see it
    Jackcrowder - Really like the way the costume develops throught the different ages

    Got kind of a screwy schedule this week, so I wanted to post what I have, with the possibility of the colored version to follow later in the week.

    My thoughts, briefly:
    "Ann's fall into the cave breaks her legs, which are bound by the alien insectivoid hermit in an attempt to heal her, hence the toe walking style. After years of alien diet and "training", Ann bides her time and kills her captor with the super-strength and skills she has learned in the pitch black of the cave."

    More in-depth blathering available here: DEVIANT ART

    Good work/ideas around here so far, although my fave is Mr. Frequent's whimsical take on things. Well realized!

    Some great contributions this thread.

    My faves:

    pauljholden - That's a very nice 'n' cute pic.

    frequentcontributor - An utterly wonderful illo, whether in colour or b&w.

    Paul Sizer - Superb. I love the hair.

    Here's my final pic this week:

    Super Ann doesn't just deal with enemy missile systems, you know...

    Congratulations, Ken! You've made me laugh out loud while sitting in a cafe, drawing weird looks from those around me. AWESOME.

    Paul: Ann's got a nice ass, and I like the Daredevil-esque nature of the character (a blind super-martial artist? Yeah.) and the alien reminds me of one from a Madman comic from a few years ago. Very cool.

    Ken: I like the unsuspecting bull...
