Shellac is Steve Albini's current/occasional band and these two were their first two 7" vinyl-only EPs. My record player is long dead but I still own those EPs. Had to resort to dubious means to get a copy to listen to. Albini could have my money a second time if he'd make them available again.

I lost track of Shellac after their first album, At Action Park, which is the most beautifully heavy piece of quality vinyl I own. I believe it's available as a cd, but it doesn't feature any of the tracks from those two EPs.

This is interesting, mostly when the Orchestra isn't heavilly involved. I'm completely unfamiliar the band and with the original Parades, so I can't say what adding a Chamber Orchestra did for it, except raise the pretentiousness quotient.
