@ Warren - what's this I hear about the charity Transmet book for CBDLF? Is it a pin-up book, beyond your writing the forward? Any hints to share?

@ Warren, hope you're feeling better soon. Likely a very frequently asked question but I was really curious if you wrote panel to panel descriptions or if you worked with scripts and let the artist figure out the sequencing, in particular I was wondering about Freakangels, (@ Freakangels-wow! and I hate everything)

Brian Hibbs pointed out an oddity:

DC COMICS PRESENTS JACK CROSS #1: I don’t get who or what market niche these DCCP things are meant to fill – are they somehow getting away with reprinting these with no or low royalties because they’re not “trade paperbacks” per se? I dunno. But what I DO know is it is really really stupid to release Warren Ellis work in a “permanent” format, and to not put his name on the cover anywhere, nor to print anything whatsoever on the spine of the book. AWFUL, from a marketing perspective; the comics inside are OK

If it's impolitic to ask, forgive me, but: dropped credits are rather extraordinary...

    Get well soon Dear Overlord.
Current World Domination Plan Hostile Takover is paused 'till you give the say so.
Patiently awaiting new stories to fuel some of my more clever death-ray patents.

Meanwhile: Hunting Aliens and reigning in stray fictionalists.
First Alien scrotum from the next millenium war is yours, if this kind tribute may please you.

I see this listed on Amazon as coming out June next year

Do you know what we might expect extras-wise? I can never decide if the Adam West Bats or DK Bats is my favourite incarnation (the ice-cream headache line always makes me smirk).

thanks for keeping this pinned and updated - I was just wondering about Captain Swing and I came here and find out.

Maybe i'm going crazy(ier) but didn't you mention something about an unamed King Arthur/Excalibur project last year?

I downloaded Shivering Sands from iBooks. I was very excited as I've been out of the country for the past year and couldn't get my hands on a copy. Unfortunately typos and odd breaks in the middle of sentences make it difficult to read. Have they never heard of quality control? Thought you'd like to know.

Well, Boing Boing has a little more info on the Transmetropolitan art book Mr. Hex inquired about. It does look like something I would like to own. Any more info, Mr. Ellis?

    "Any more info, Mr. Ellis?"

Basically, I know no more than you do.

Are you going to be involved in the rumoured RED sequal?

If you are allowed to say, of course.

I'll probably be asked to put my foot in my mouth (or worse); but are there any more planned Apparat books, or graphic novellas? I always thought that those were a great idea--and those probably take time to develop...

That's a shame, a global frequency movie could have been amazing.

Since it's been mentioned before but is now past the original rough date - is there any tentative date for a wrapup to the most recent Doktor Sleepless arc? If not, is still still on your and Avatar's 'someday' list?
