Not to sure if it's that important or not but the link for the Interlude isn't linked under the bottom right hand side of the comic.

My first post and it's a bitch remark. I don't normally suck this much, honest. I hope all sicklings make full recoveries soon!

Very nice art on the wallpaper too, well captured.

... I have no idea what this means, sorry. If you mean the space directly to the right of the page numbers -- the mirror of the "prev episode" link -- that's where the "next episode" link goes when you're back in the archives...

In... in... inter... wha? whu? wha?

Bollocks. Bastards. Nice wallpaper though. Just got back from Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes = Teletubbyland designed by Albert Speer. It fucks with my head everytime I go there. I now have rum. Rum is the great healer. Rum is good and makes head right again. Thank you rum.

    Milton Keynes is not ANYWHERE

As for this new skip week: it hasn't killed the suspense, no worry about that.

I wish Ariana answered my question, though. Another time, maybe.

About where you can see covers what I made? I don't know that there's really enough to put them all in one place, yet...! Shivering Sands, Aetheric Mechanics, and Captain Swing are the three big ones (The latter two both out from Avatar). Other than that, most of my design work lately has been logos and tee shirts. I put some things up on Flickr... eventually...

(Oh! Actually I did do the cover of Jamais Cascio's Hacking The Earth -- But I didn't take the picture, so I don't think of it, heh.)

    Thank you!
That's already something, and you know that many of us care.
(and about Casio's cover, it may not be a picture of yours but what you did of it is beautiful)

Milton fucking Keynes is an atrocity. So many damn roundabouts it even confused my satnav. It's just like a never-ending amorphous blob of stuff like a bad acid trip or a nightmare you can't wake up from. i read the justification for the place on wikipedia and can see that there's a perverse logic to the place but I can't see how anyone can live there and not go insane.

Clockwise from Mark (amoral leader-cum-bogeyman): Caz (engineer), Jack (seeker), Sirkka (lover), KK (scientist), Karl (irascible objectivist), Kirk (watcher), Arkady (savant), Connor (chronicler), Kait (controller), Luke (angry young man), Miki (savior)

    I get those right?

edit: that's Arkady standing in the middle. she had the long purple hair with bangs in ep.30's flashback

    second edit: fixed.

It's definitely Arkady standing in the middle as the focal character (we see her dressed the same way in a much earlier flashback).

I think this was the wallpaper I was waiting for. I just turned on my computer and when that picture came up I was all "Hell Yeah!" I think I said it out loud. It's an awesome, awesome picture.

That Jenny McCarthy Body Count is funny, anyone else notice the numbers are spiking kind of wildly over the last month or so?
What is that, swine flu? There a vaccine ready for that yet?
Anyhow, beautiful team pic and Carl Sagan. Thanks Paul!

Hope the nerd flu does not linger into pneumonia or any other such stupidity!

I must admit that sometimes I like the Interludes not because they are lovely (which they are) or funny (yes) or filled with things that I must buy right now with my imaginary bank account (nods a little bit too enthusiastically. ow.), but because it's nice to have a breather and a chance to catch up a little bit again.

Also, the wallpaper is gorgeous and I hope it continues to have nothing to do with anything but itself. And Paul's brilliance.

    Good weekend, all!

You know, what's interesting to me is that the word I most often find myself wanting to use to describe Mark is "harmless." Warren has spend the year and a half or so building Mark up into this terrifying psychic bogeyman and when we finally "meet" him, he's this affable fellow wearing that goofy-looking track suit, looking a bit like a hapless dilettante who's slumming with the rest of the 'angels while figuring out new and entertaining ways to waste "Daddy's" money. He doesn't seem like somebody who'd be taken seriously. He certainly doesn't seem like the mover and shaker behind the act that "ended the world." Which is sort of the point, I suppose.

That wallpaper is gorgeous. Seriously considering putting it on my work machine and freaking out my co-workers, who are already freaked out by the "map of the 'Verse" setup I'm currently using.

    Hope y'all feel better soon.

    Balls.

    Get better and all that.

Took me at least 24 hours to GET OVER THE DISAPPOINTMENT of No Freakangels. You get people hooked, it's incumbent upon to supply the fucking drugs.

    Balls, I say.
