@ Mathias Bällsten - Wow, haven't heard that track for years. Recorded an electronica version years ago at uni. I'm on the sax, Los is on production, one take before a gig. Good stuff at the end of the track.

At the moment listening to lots of:

    Yma Sumac / Sun Virgin
Sun Ra / Sound of Joy
DJ Cam / Substances (thanks to Texture for refinding it)
    Bon Ivor
    Bruce Haack / Captain Entropy
    Devandra Banhart

A lot of Small Brown Bike. The River Bed and Nail Yourself To The Ground, their last two works before breaking up, are my personal favorites.

@costa_k I saw them on the River Bed tour in...03? I think? Totally awesome. Have you listened to their new stuff? My friend Mike plays drums with Ben from SBB in a band called The Great Sea Serpents and I caught Ben and Mike's other band Able Baker Fox last year in Chicago and they were pretty bad ass, too.

Also, the Small Brown Bike/Casket Lottery split 10" is the greatest split of all time. Hands down.

@Oda - Gahh, I'm sorry. What an arsehole. This is one of my favorite break up songs, a mixture of anger and sadness:

I'm sad and furious and all-around miserable, and have re-discovered The Smashing Pumpkins accordingly.

Bought the new 7-inch and I'm waiting on it. I'm mostly just mad they aren't coming around to NYC now that they're back together.

Piccadilly has 'Hated for Loving' by Xiu Xiu, really a interesting song, if it touches a radio anywhere, studio execs will shit themselves.

Cheers Mathias. Hope you like. Coltrane is a total genius. Tragic story too.
