It's Friday, here's FREAKANGELS: In which shit is so on.

Good morning, Whitechaplingies. It is getting miserable cold out these days. (For NorCal values of cold, yes, shut up, my weather complaints are at least as valid as Warren's...!) How's everyone else in the Winter hemisphere doing? No one's frozen yet? (Southern hemisphere folks: try not to brag too much, heh.) Everyone still alive?

    SO ON!!!

    Still alive :)
    And surprisingly warm here.
Just started going to the gym this morning, if I can survive waking up at 8 and do some having lifting I can survive waiting another week for my fix :)

    How are you?

Great action sequence! I love page 3, panel 3.

It's wet and windy in London, but not too cold.
Yesterday was my birthday, tomorrow is my wife's. Last weekend was our wedding anniversary, and 2 weeks before that was our son's first birthday. Needless to say I am now broke until payday.

Gonna be a nice day. But weird. Today will be weird. For everyone. Weird things will happen. Not BAD weird but ... just weird. I can feel it in my feeling.

I am alive, thank you, Ms. Ariana.

Love that group shot with the wall. Karl looks like a dick, heheh.

Its a dry day in Manchester for once. However, still very windy. Freakangels friday has become part of my regular friday routine at University. I have two hours to kill between 12pm and 2pm. My lecture finishes at 12pm right on time for the FA update, and since I bring my laptop to uni its one of the first things on my to do list!

Im very much enjoying the recent episodes, I love flashbacks! One thing I noticed, is Mark seems to be the more violent member of the group back in the day. He injures a soldier while everybody else simply puts up a shield. Thats not to say the rest of the group cant be violent. Jack hurts two soldiers quite badly after they attempt to shoot Sirkka, but its not quite the "head exploding" attack from Mark in the previous episode. And we all know from previous volumes KK and Caz can cause some serious damage when they want to. Luke has no problem using his powers against others, Sirkka has that massive gun on the roof, violence is part of Kait's job and Kirk & Karl were the ones who (unsuccessfuly) took out Mark. The only FA's Ive seen so far not to cause physical harm to another is Kady, Connor and Miki. Though Im sure they could if need be.

Ah, that was some brilliant violence there. The purple wash over everything is beautiful... Volume 4 is kicking ass and taking names. Good work, everyone.

Bloody weather's contagious...cold, wet, miserable and windy in Johannesburg all week. Flashbacks are all very well, but is does my impatiance factor no good at all, dammit, hehehehe. Of course, now I can't wait to see what the blighters did to take us to present (futuer) day!!!!

Brilliant battle sequence, fantastic work all!

I particularly like the shield wall on page 4 - there's a nice sense of coordination there. As each 'Angel emerges into the field of fire they raise their hands and contribute, once they're clear (Jack and Sirkka) they drop them. Makes me wonder if they've tied themselves together into some kind of mental super-organism to better cope with combat.

And the building collapse on page 6 is simply gorgeous.

Weather eh? The rest of the country is burning up with record breaking temperatures, but here it's been cool and rainy. Which is the way I like it.

Get those choppers!! (It's interesting that, given their telepathic abilities, teamwork isn't this lot's strong point... OK, so they get distracted)

Since it seems folk were discussing Wyndham references last week, I'll just point out that the present day London setting has echoes of 'The Kraken Wakes'

My wife had a cold last weekend when we went up to Yorkshire, now we are back in London and I've got it. Bah! But thanks for asking Lady Ariana.

Lurve the episode and the way Marks character is being revealed.

Nobody seems to have thought much of my idea about the Freakangel's powers being God - like, but I'm still pondering on it. As I said before, there are 12 of them. Plus they are called "angels" Their powers are awsome, but not occult; (i.e. there are no mystic incantations or anything like that involved). They can see into other people's minds, (or souls if you like) and can do just about anything they want. All they lack is omniscience and wisdom.

But, this is all mere speculation which is enjoyable, but not as good as the real story!

Weather in Eastern Canada is a check. We are looking at a decent weekend for the first time in several.(thanks for askin'). New to the forum, so please forgive the blind praise but Freakangels make my Fridays. Skip weeks or issues are like regular weeks with no Saturdays or Sundays.

Oddly enough I caught this in my pre FreakAngels News surfing. At first I thought the Angels had pulled together for the big push, and had finally flooded London(for real).

    200 rescued from England flooding

Life imitating art? keep up the great work!

Now that I live in northern Wisconsin? Apparently it has been mild so far. I'm hoping it lasts. I just found about fleece or flannel lined jeans, which I now want. And a neck warmer. The pursuit of cold weather clothing continues.

The episodes continue to be quite good. I'm kind of curious as to what caused the gov't to chase them down and all, though the typical reasons do come to mind.

Thank you for reminding my it IS friday. Thought it was wednesday all day yesterday, even after being told it's thursday and I'm moon headed.

Nice to see the kids on the move and using their packages in violent/violet ways.

Weather in Austin is being interesting. Wednesday (real wednesday) it was quite cold. Thursday (fake wednesday) was warm and humid. Today is the same with a slight chill breeze and a clarity to the air and light that's unique. Color's are popping like Provia transparency film from 10 years ago.

***Weather update*** Pissed rain for the rest of the day.

    gorgeous episode !
still too many questions, but there always are....
this is a tangled knot of what if's and shouldn't there be's that must eventually come undone.
    its your story-

the page with the wall'o'force is amazing !
could it be that they only act in such a co-ordinated way when they are threatened?

    Good morning Ariana

Things are going as well as can be expected. i've done nothing for any holidays upcoming, no prep, no planning, nothing at all and I'm OK with that.

And it's going to be downright beautiful for the next couple of weeks.

Page four, top panel: fantastic shield. Part of me when "Mmm, photoshop" (in a good way) and part of me looked at the lower edge, where it meets the ground, and I was amazed. Which seems to me a weird thing to be amazed about. But hey. Amazed.

I think the weather's changing in northeast Indiana again; my knee doesn't seem to want to move properly. Housing process is moving along slowly but surely. Mortgage is approved by the underwriters, repairs have been made, and the reinspection is scheduled for this afternoon. I'm now officially to the point I want it to be over and I just want a house. My house.

I'm finally working 8 hour days again, which means I accomplish fuck all in most any other respect except falling down to sleep occasionally these days. On the other hand, I can buy myself a pair of boots that aren't leather bits built around gaping holes. As for the weather, it's November in Minnesota, so even thought it's actually pretty nice here, in relative terms it's shit. Hasn't snowed at least.
( I'm only lying a little. It DID snow, but that was well over a month ago and was gone in a few days. )

Okay, I have to admit that I'm a little bit disappointed that after all my hard work keeping track of everyone in this scene, it's turned out that those 'missing' were just standing behind some boxes the entire time.

    I should have known.

Yeah, I'm kind of wondering about the backstory to the backstory too.

Great episode! Things are going well, I think, though I recently came to the realization that pay day is becoming the most depressing day of the week. Glad Freakangels is here to help me fight against that every Friday.
Also, wanted to thank Ariana for parting the clouds above my head- your comment on twitter to me yesterday (regarding Making Stuff and my current hired gun status) interrupted my brain's nap in a very good way. Thanks for that.
