    According to this person, there is a dodgy goth club called Betty Ford Clinic.

    This amuses me immensely for some reason.

    Best name i ever heard for a goth club was in the novelisation of the second "The Crow" movie.
    It was kind of a fetish-goth club and it was called "The Second Coming".

    Yeah, I vaguely know one of the other promoters. Top chap with a penchant for undertaking dangerously explosive feats of heavy engineering while drunk.

    As I understand it, BFC was partly prompted by the question: "what if we held a goth club in an actual proper clubbing venue, like what proper clubs use, instead of some kind of filthy hole, or the back room of a pub?" I keep meaning to go along and see what the results are like...

    I hang out a lot at a goth/industrial club called "Ground Zero." It's been that since way* before all the 9/11 crap. It's kinda dodgy. Sometimes I'm tempted to hose the place down with Luminol. But mostly because I know all the horrible things I've* done in dark corners, there.

    alasdair: The guy what goes by 'latexiron' on Lj? I ran into his Lj a while back and friended him for just those descriptions of someone with way too much loose cash spending it on stupid and highly explosive hobbies. It's brilliant. He keeps mentioning the BFC. Makes me wish I was in england... a lot of things do, really.
