WASTELAND is probably the only other post-apocalyptic comic written by bald Englishmen that you should be reading right now. They have a website and everything -- including Antony Johnston's soundtrack for WASTELAND, even, which is a wonderful idea.

They've also got the entire first issue up there, for free, in three different formats.

We haven't solicited beyond those issues yet because, unlike some publishers and creators, we don't like to solicit issues we know we can't ship on time. As I said on my website, #27 is delayed, but coming as soon as we can, and once we've crossed that hump we all hope that we can get back on track. I believe, in fact, that #30 is to be solicited in the next PREVIEWS catalogue. If the series was cancelled, we'd tell people — especially if it was happening within the next two issues (!)

You know what? What you do is you buy a trade or two of Wasteland,. And if, as the awesome Mr. Johnston notes above, you figure it isn't for you-- you work your way through this. And even if Wasteland IS for you, you should look over that list anyway. I, uh, wouldn't advise that. You'll be waiting at least another three years. You can "safely" read up to #20, if you like — that's a good, clean break in the story.

Issues #1 and #2 are both completely sold out, sorry.
