oh! paul, i totally almost forgot i owe you an illo!
i managed to track down a copy of BPM about two months ago off amazon and it's great and people out there should go buy it and i'll stop now before i derail the thread...
@Paul Sizer - Ta for your comment re: my two pics (actually, I've replaced my initial quickie picture with a variation on the second concept - because, of course, there's a 2 pics-only limit now.) I'm going to be real busy for the rest of the week, so I'm just going to drop in now and again to see what goodies are going to appear on the thread - and hopefully one of 'em will be a Sizer pic!
@DisContent; Something straight out of Heavy Metal or a cover of a grand space adventure novel. Those boots are deadly.
@3millionyears; That is all fun. I can almost hear the soundtrack.
@jeffkevlar; Killer costume design. I like what you did with the face. Great techno feature.
@Andre Navarro; Your art always captures moments. There's no lack of that here. Every bit of wonder is there in this piece. You have brought the audience in.
@ DBed; You are a tease. Now put out.
@Ken Miller; I have always looked forward to what you come up. Your brain pot is always boiling. Brilliant work here. I love it.
@Dario; When you threw that up, I was in the middle of a horrid school district meeting. Your satire made my day.
@lordmitz; Is there anything not to love? Excellent job. Superb colors. I adore how you worked us, the community, into the piece.
@Adam Rosenlund; There is very little I can add that others haven't said. Wonderful work.
As for my addition? I wanted to tackle that scanno lens. Earth done in Prisma colors. Everything else in the Adobe suit package.
Cursed be me to not be an artist. I saw this and decided to bang out a ten page script though. If anyone feels like making their second drawing based on someone else's interpretation let me know. Are all these characters public domain?
That was cyan, but when I exported out of Manga Studio, I accidentally did it in greyscale, and it is better, because, to paraphrase Ba and Moon (did you see that? what I just did there?) color is, indeed, evil. Except when they use it. Definitely when I do.
And yes, that's supposed to be the Herman Miller logo.
