    Here are some images from the country

    You have to get up early for that one. That's why I don't have too many like that.

    This one was a B&W image that had some colour added later.

    This is the train track not far from my home.

    @photomagex How colorful and crisp!

    The last time I used color reversal/ slide film was stupidly with a pinhole camera. Since slide film is a very harsh mistress that gives you no leeway on your exposures, it turned out poorly... If interestingly purple.

    I didn't use it again because it's too expensive of a film to waste shots on. But I bought a roll of Fuji Provia last month and stuck it in my Pentax.

    The rest of the roll is brilliantly colored (IMO) but the film still costs too damned much to buy and develop to be using on from-the-hip style shots like this. If I use it again, it'll be for special reasons.

    @Munin: Thank you!

    Went on a shooting expedition and didn't come out too bountiful, but some nice shots came up.

    @ oldhat - I love the last pic here. Looks like you got the exposure time just right. I also like your pix of the doors. There are so many interesting doors that it could be an interesting coffee table book.

    This is just about the freakiest tree I've ever seen. I took a bunch of daytime shots of it and blew out the contrast and added a moon photo I had previously taken. Here is a B & W and colour version.

    This is a cover I am working on for my father's latest book. This will be his 4th published offering. It still needs a little work, such as straightening out the horizon line.

    Part of an old grave stone.

    Part of a sculpture in the same graveyard.

    Inside the Rockingham Church. Notice the small wood stove at the front to heat the place. They get some very cold winters in this area, it is east of Algonquin Park in Ontario, Canada

    Hi allana - I've been injured and therefore out of action. Even sitting at the PC was limited. It's nice to be back and see that all my favourite threads are still going. I hope you bought that record. The guy in the hat looks like he's had more sillyness that a human should be exposed to.

    i didn't buy it; i've already succumbed to the temptation and bought three records this trip and it's simply got to stop. that's what photos are for, though, right? virtual ownership?

    in the meantime, STICKMAN.
