    Had a nice day last week, lovely weather. Took a few hours to let boi play with his drums, took some shots when the light got nice enough.

    @krakatoa - I usually don't like selective colour (at all) but that's a lovely picture.

    @chris - Good work there!

    @Munin - God damn it, stop being so fantastic - you're making us all look bad.

    I was taking some pin-up photos of my friend Leslie yesterday for a calendar that we're going to send to a friend of ours that is stationed in Afghanistan. Here were a couple of my favs. I've been doing a lot of self portraits, but not a lot of photos of other people. It was a good experience for me.

    First shot with my new Nikon D3000, sadly she had a twitchy nose.

    Barton: No rig to speak of! Just walked in to the market, loved the look of it, gave my bags to my mom and went back in with my nikon d50 for some clickity-click.

    @thewaltonsare Pah! Crappy photoshop skills my butt! Great shot!

    So in memory of my late brother (he passed away a year ago last thursday), my parents and I went to The Scarborough Bluffs to feed the ducks, an activity that my brother LOVED because he loved birds and the sounds they made. The whole set is here (about 15 pics soon to be more) and some of my favorites are here:

    I pretty much stopped shooting film when Kodak Ektar 25 and 100 speed went away.

    I damn near cried when Kodachrome disappeared. (though i see Kodachrome appears to have been resurrected. Almost tempting to but a few rolls...)

    Edited to add:
    huh. Ektar 100 seems to have come back. People must have bitched enough.
