    Bought a camera for 16 bucks at a thrift shop, loaded it with expired film, and I am loving the results so far.

    @CinnamonAndSpite If only it were real! Unfortunately it's edited from a gray day.

    @zoetica Its pretty anyway.

    One purple sky scene for another, albeit less clear, and artful.

    Do any Polariod whizzes have any tips for my wife, who just got a SX-70 and some Impossible Project film?

    @lexmachine - Cheers for both comments.
    Also I just realized that until now I've totally been confusing you with another Whitechaplain, but I'm not sure who.

    @Munin - That's fucking gorgeous. Once again! Dammit.

    @ Fauxhammer - One great thing about the SX-70 is that you can manipulate the film emulsion while it is processing by pushing it around with hard blunt tool. One of Peter Gabriel's album covers features this effect.

    It can be easily done in Photoshop but doing right on the film is more spontaneous and definitely more permanent.

    Nude model smoke break:

    ... and a much more naughty photo, after one of the ladies suggested smoking with her feet. Definitely NSFW.

    (((( @krakatoakatie ))))

    I lost a camera earlier this year... It is traumatic. The data-loss incident that struck me in 2004 felt much worse though.

    I have been messing around with a lo-fi aesthetic in industrial setting. Work in progress:

    Taken while the ash cloud was up as I was told I get some good colour in the sky.
    Not in the best place to do it as I had no car access, but I love the way the colour came out in this one.
