    Quick point and shoot portrait of my dad from this weekend. Not too edited because it's a JPG so I can't do too much to it, but I loved the light.

    Here's a stick I found in a pond today

    I swore I would take this photo one day. I drive past it 2 or 3 times per week.

    Just like doors.

    My wife was shooting some flower porn.

    @William George The dust look like stars! Lovely shot.

    I think the nebula-looking bit is dust. I can't seem to see it on the negative. But the rest are honest to goodness stellar phenomenon.

    @Grabnorg love that first one.

    You guys are making me seriously miss film.

    @photomagex "I swore I would take this photo one day. I drive past it 2 or 3 times per week."

    I totally know how that goes. That is an awesome shot.

    Industrial bit of Delray snapped fromt he freeway on my way home from work. At night, this portion of the city, made up almost entirely of plants and factories is lit up like some sort of space port. It's my favorite part of coming home from the club at 3am. Someday, I'll get that shot.

    Phonecam snapshot turned out well.

    @photomagex: That's pretty hilarious.

    @lexmachine: I like it, especially the scratchyness around the edge of the film - adds to the decay feeling.

    Any old superstitions about spotless ladybugs out there? Like, if you see one you will have 13 years of bad luck?

    Anyhoo, some old gotham shots:

    @Munin I think I love everything that you post. Especially like that first shot.

    @photomagex: I love the lonely telephone booth photo. Did you ever see "The President's Analyst?"

    @Munin: Perhaps there is some sort of bad luck with such an oddity. Would make for a good detail in folklore or myth.

    have some streetcars:
    the one on the left was one of the cars that got flooded in the canal street barn, and is one of the few which haven't yet been restored.

    @ bjacques - I never did see the Presidents Analyst. What does it have to do with the phone booth?

    @ lexmachine - One day I'm going to go out with the sole purpose of photographing the things I drive by thinking
    "OOh, that would make a good photo.
    . Of course it would be like frantically looking for a scrap of paper to make a list because your head's too full, and as soon as you get it, poof, Mindfart, Cranial cavity, 2 fries short of a Happy Meal.
