    @microclimate - Delivering quality as always. That shot of the aerialist against the sky is just incredible.
    @Florence Chan - Love these, too.
    @JonCarpenter - Cheers, pal. One of those odd coincidences, and once I'd seen it I knew I had to keep it.

    On the theme of diptychs, a previously seen photo (left) and its recent counterpart (right):

    @microclimate - I second the OMG WOW on the aerialist. LOVE that shot. LOVE.

    I promise to post something as soon as I survive getting my show hung this week. Life keeps trying to eat me.

    I got some of my Holga film developed, here are some of the shots. I also tried scanning negatives, I really like the effect of the dust and scratches on them.

    I find this one especially sad, it's from a child's tomb stone. The statue on it is really haunting, I took some digital photos of it a while back.

    @256: Thanks!
    @thewaltonsare: Don't blink!

    @thewaltonsare those are pretty spooky but also quite quite amazing. I'm unsure if I should be sad (because of the subject) or uplifted (because of the execution).

    More cloud porn from me, but this one I tried to post process a bit... too much :(

    *grin* Thanks peepils, too kind!

    Also, bloody hell, crowsandstairsandchairs. Can't say how nice it is to see a little variety..

    thewaltonsare: I hope you get the same obvious jokes made at your expense when you hang about in graveyards with a camera. Very nice work. Now make someone lend you "The Graveyard Book" by Neil Gaiman, which is delightful (if nominally for children).

    @microclimate-I know, I have a morbid fascination with cemetery angels . . . I have no idea why. I read The Graveyard Book shortly after it came out, I loved it. I've talked several kids at the high school into reading it as well since we have it in the library.

    One shot that I think I'm allowed to share from my shoot today.
    NOTE: She's laughing because while I was shooting I said that I was pretty sure I was standing in human urine.

    oh, hi, guys!

    i am leisurely driving my way back to the east coast. by leisurely i mean i am distracting myself wherever possible to make the gas cost less each day. if that sounds stupid, it's because it is.
